Casa Joseph Zicatela - Adults Only

Dinner here is fabulous. Dinner is on the beach in the most beautiful setting. Staff was friendly and helpful, not only about the menu but also about what to do/where to go in town. The ravioli and the mahi mahi were delicious!

Casa Joseph is the perfect way to elevate your vacation in Puerto Escondido. Me and my finance came just for the day for the morning yoga, ice bath session and massages and ended up staying the entire day until sunset and for dinner. The staff is incredibly attentive and kind. The food was top notch - breakfast, lunch dinner and drinks. The vibes were immaculate, live music every night after sunset. When we come back, we’ll definitely be staying here!

My wife and I had an amazing stay at Casa Joseph. The atmosphere was relaxing and elegant, the service impeccable, and the location idyllic. A big thank-you to Sergio for his warm welcome, Jonathan for patiently answering all my questions, and Jesus (a new team member) for his kindness and attentiveness throughout our stay. Everything, from the beautiful room to the thoughtful service, made our visit unforgettable.

Chill vibes near the beach with great food. Some nice live music as well. Will definitely come back here with my partner in the future.

Ongoing Construction Makes the Villa Unlivable We recently stayed in the two-bedroom villa at Casa Joseph, hoping for a peaceful and relaxing getaway where we could spend most of our time lounging around the villa. Unfortunately, that was far from our experience. There is major construction happening immediately next to the villa from around 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily, and the noise is extremely loud — constant hammering, drilling, and machinery that make it impossible to relax or enjoy the space. Even more concerning, as the project progresses to a second story, the new construction will directly overlook one of the villa’s bathrooms(that has floor to ceiling windows), completely eliminating any sense of privacy. In addition to the construction, the villa itself has some issues. The refrigerator is very loud, and the ceiling fan on the rooftop area was broken during our stay. The bar service was also quite slow, which added to the overall frustration. On a positive note, the food was excellent, and Angie and Miguel, who attended to the villa, were wonderful — warm, attentive, and professional. They were truly the highlight of an otherwise disappointing stay. That said, I would not recommend staying here, at least not until the construction is fully complete. If you have an upcoming reservation, I strongly suggest finding another place to stay — the noise and lack of privacy make it impossible to enjoy what should be a relaxing experience.

The hotel and staff were amazing and nothing was too much for them. The facilities can best be rated at Excellent. The breakfast was brilliant and loved it. I would totally recommend the hotel as a place to stay and definitely try out the cocktails
