I absolutely loved Casa De Olas when we had our yoga retreat there in March 2024. The staff was kind and conscientious. The resort, rooms and studio spaces were fantastic. Located only a couple blocks from an amazing beach, we were able to enjoy privacy at Casa de Olas while seamlessly being able to enjoy the culture of the area anytime. We are heading back next year! Thank you for having us!

I took a large group of Yogis on retreat for a week at Casa De Olas and we had an amazing time! The staff was really nice with some English speakers that helped with organization, the facilities were great and the yoga shala was perfect for our group of 30. We will be back!

Excelente ubicación, desayuno super rico, los dueños al pendiente de sus huéspedes, habitaciones con una vista linda, muy limpio un lugar tranquilo sin dejar de cumplir lo necesario para que los niños estén cómodos, tienen un restaurante en playa san agustinillo, también muy cómodo y rico para pasar el día en la playa

Charming, rustic, relaxing, and really a wonderful little hotel. But what really stood out was the staff here - they were all so dedicated and service oriented, and everyone was friendly, helpful, and extremely kind. Three standouts were Josmar, Angel, and Monica.The food served here was also really good. It was about a 5 minute walk to the shops, restaurants, and the beach. I was participating in a yoga retreat, and this hotel provided the perfect space for our group.

I hosted a retreat at Casa De Olas and it was INCREDIBLE. Everyone at the hotel was so warm and inviting. The hotel was very uniquely designed. We stayed for 8 nights and never got bored! They let us use one of the palapas for yoga and the views and vibe were gorgeous and so peaceful. The location is also very ideal- close to the beach and town but not too close to be a party zone. I slept really well at night. Also, the food is so delicious!!! The hotel also helped us book all the excursions, which were all excellent and even helped me find a babysitter for my son (they became best friends!) It was super clean, the pool was very fun too. My guests kept asking how I found the hotel. I loved every moment there and can’t wait for the next time I get to go back!

The hotel is well located, beautiful, clean. The swimming pool is fantastic. Food service is restrict, but the quality above my expectations. They offer excursions at a better price than those I found at the internet. The problem: all the time there is some music playing loud. Usually bad music. They should learn that, at a noisy world, silence is gold. They could encourage those guests who want to hear music to use each one’s device – with earphone, of course, to avoid disturbing the others. In favour of the hotel, I must say that they turned off the sound as soon as I asked to (why didn’t I asked before?). Then all of a sudden we start listening to the birds; a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere was installed. Hotel Casa de Olas remains a solid choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Puerto Escondido. I recommend it to fellow travelers seeking a well-located, clean, and overall positive lodging experience

Special thanks to everyone in la Casa De Olas!! This place is just magnificent, well located, in a calm and secure neighborhood close to everything you need !! The staff is just amazing, they do everything to make your experience memorable! 🫶 We went fishing with Efrain and caught 2 big « Mahi-mahi » that the kitchen prepared for us with a mexicain recipe: sooo delicious😋 !!! Rooms are very confortable, climatisation is very appreciated after a day surfing at the beach with la Casa’s surfboards!! Great place for yoga under the palapa with stunning view including a peak at the sunset 🌅 The pool is kept tidy and very refreshing especially after a tennis game on the well maintained court… Also you have to try one of Moniques’ exceptional drinks while taking a sun bath next to the pool at the Mantra Bar🍹😉 We highly recommend la Casa de Olas to anyone wanting to visit Puerto Escondido 👌 for sure you will enjoy your stay.

Estuvimos 8 días en Casa de Olas. Lo mejor, es la atención al cliente de todo su personal, pero en particular de Josmar, Noemí y Reynaldo de la recepción, Antonio el chef, Betza en la cocina, Mónica y Raquel las bar tenders. Siempre atentos a los que pudiéramos necesitar. El hotel es pequeño pero cuenta con todo lo que puedes necesitar. Las habitaciones son cómodas. Está a muy buena distancia de una de las playas más bonitas de Puerto Escondido y de los mejores restaurantes.
