This hotel was okay, but disappointing for a Hampton Inn. Their recent renovation did NOT provide ANY Towel Rods in the bathroom!! Seriously??? The towels were provided on a shelf, but that wasn't conducive for hanging anything, even though we forced it to do so. There was a hook on the back of the door and a small shower door handle, and that was it. There was plenty of wall space for multiple towel rods, so that wasn't the issue. Incredibly inconvenient!! Other than that, the room was spacious and clean and all items (microwave, refrig, shower, etc) functioned well. We were not happy with the duvet on the bed. It was the heaviest we ever experienced, like a weighted blanket. Too much for summertime. We'd kick it off, but the thin sheet wasn't enough for the A/C. So after going from too hot, to too cold a number of times, we finally got up in the middle of the night and disassembled the duvet so that we could just use its thin cover. That finally worked okay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay. Although the problems mentioned are rather minor in the whole scheme of things, it was still a disappointing experience for a Hampton Inn.

This hotel has bedbugs... when the front desk came to my room to investigate and provide trash bags for my belongings... she expressed a mouse infestation, and said she thought that was the reason I was calling.

This hotel on Hilton's website indicated "Newly Renovated" during our stay in May 2025, but I cannot understand why the website still shows that! There was way too much disrepair to have been renovated. The room entry door had suffered some damage, and the deadbolt and latch didn't fully engage with the jam, which allowed a massive gap at the bottom of the door. The bathroom was terrible, particularly the shower (unless renovated means a ton of silicon caulk to hide the lack of maintenance)! The ice machine was nonfunctional, with parts visible lying on the bottom under the dispenser area! I am very disappointed that Hilton continues to allow their name on this facility. We tried the breakfast area, but it was another big disappointment: poorly kept and stocked. The breakfast area staff person seemed more interested in socializing with his friends than doing his job.
