While I am yet to visit, I do feel it's worth mentioning an exceptional lady named Rosie. She was kind, patient and understanding. She was also very informative and clearly knows her role well. What an asset to have Rosie as an employee. Also, thank you to Shannon. It seems you have a good team there.

What a fabulous and friendly hotel to stay. A true gem of hospitality and comfort. We stayed with our dog for 2 nights to visit family in the area and from booking to departure the staff were amazing. There was a lovely dog bed and goody bag in the room for him and it was spotlessly clean . A good selection of teas and coffee and the room was warm and welcoming with fluffy towels and shower gels etc. We dined there twice and the food and service was exceptional on both occasions and the breakfast was generous and delicious. the bar staff were friendly and welcoming The hotel is a true country hotel with lovely walks to enjoy and close to places to visit.

Our room was small and stuffy, with the windows open the smell of cooking from the kitchen below wasunpleasant. We asked for a fan which helped. The friends we travelled with has a much bigger room without the smells. The setting is lovely and we enjoyed the gardens. The second breakfast was a disaster: there was no bread, they ran out of yogurts and fruit. A request for marmalade was ignored until Erin was asked and she knew where the jar was in the kitchen. Louise was very sympathetic and cancelled the previous bad impression by reserving us a table that didn't wobble with marmalade already on the table. She was friendly and helpful and went out of her way to make us comfortable.
