Nice cosy budget friendly Inn. Staff are very welcoming and kind . Food is good . Had the prawn fish cakes and chips which were absolutely delicious. My wife had the pie which she loved. Good selection of drinks and stunning views. Very much enjoyed are stay and will return.

I came for an interview and stayed at The Gather Inn . I am so pleased to have found it . As a solo traveler its nice to be in a hotel where the look after you . The girls are all really friendly and seem to be genuinely interested in your plans. They have an excellent choice of Gins and they introduce me to the ‘Brighton’ not Brighton shot Tuaca . Which I will be amazoning one of them if I can’t go to the shops they recommend to pick one up. They also make the best expresso Martini I have ever had . The Inn does not do breakfast because they are surrounded by lovely local cafes. I ate one morning in Tiffany's and the other at The Longshore both excellent cafes . I will definitely be returning when I come back to Brighton.

A one night stay
Friendly staff but disappointed overall. There was a large window with new curtains and carpet. There was a new toilet, sink and radiator in the bathroom. But it was small and the shower itself let the place down. They have overlooked some of the basics including decent beds without headboard and gap at the end to lose your pillows.Filling the kettle at the sink was near impossible as it didn’t fit under the tap.

This pub / hotel offers friendly service, great atmosphere and good selection of drinks. They also have a locket function room. I have been here many times before and will be back! The menu caters to dietary requirements and has lots of choice

When we arrived, we met the lovely Becky, and then Emma took my really heavy suitcase upstairs for me without me even asking everyone is so friendly and down to earth. Lovely meal burgers just right not too moist just prefect. Now bring on the karaoke

After reading the reviews I thought this was a great find, however I'm afraid we were disappointed with the quality of the room. The decor was very tired and looked like something out of the 80s (brown carpet, flowery wallpaper) but it appeared clean. The bathroom however was a different story... there was mould on the ceiling, the floor felt grimy and the overall look was dark and dingy. We were also rudely awakened by the fire alarm going off around 7.30, got ready to evacuate then it was switched off again! I would have lodged a complaint about the room but I knew there were no other rooms available without paying extra for them which I wasn't prepared to do. I felt overall that this was overpriced (£138) for the quality and would not stay here again.

Great welcoming little place clean rooms. The bar staff Claire and Emma were great at the bar and very good hosts. I would recommend to anyone to come here for a stay no complaints. The shots were on point and I fully recommend trying them when you stay.

5/5 Wonderful greeting. Very helpful staff and great room, with fabulous view over the harbor and sea. Breakfast not served while we stayed but the cafe just over the road to the left was great and very reasonably priced. Buses through the day frequent, and £2 into the center, just half an hour away.
