Ein herausragendes Hotel aus dem 19. Jahrhundert mit sehr gutem Service und sehr guten Restaurants mitten in der Natur. Das Erlebnis beginnt schon mit der Anreise (am besten per Dampfschiff aus Interlaken-Ost oder Brienz und dann mit der hoteleigenen Bergbahn). Der namensgebende Giessbach beeindruck mit einem großen Wasserfall, der aus vielen Hotelzimmern zu sehen und aus allen zu hören ist. Ein Naturschwimmbad, mehrere Wanderwege und eine grandiose Aussicht auf den Brienzer See runden das Ganze ab.
