Zeer onvriendelijk te woord gestaan en toezegging eerder gedaan door receptiemedewerker werd afgedaan als onjuist want hij was nieuw en kende de regels niet. Geen enkel meedenken, enkel regels citerend, bijzonder onplezierige ervaring. Moesten bij inchecken bijbetalen of konden annuleren met restitutie van betaling. Voor dat laatste gekozen en gelukkig nog ander hotel gevonden dat wel klantgericht en prettig was. De door de manager toegezegde restitutie werd echter door het hoofdkantoor geweigerd, want regels....! Uitermate negatieve ervaring! Voor ons heeft Bastion Hotels volledig afgedaan. Wij troffen geen gastvrij hotel maar een gesloten verdedigingswerk!

Het was een geweldige ervaring in dit restaurant. Het eten was heerlijk en goed bereid. Wat dit bezoek echt bijzonder maakte, was het personeel. Ze waren ontzettend vriendelijk, behulpzaam en gaven je het gevoel echt welkom te zijn. Ze namen de tijd om onze wensen te vervullen en zorgden ervoor dat we het naar onze zin hadden. Dit maakt het restaurant zeker de moeite waard om terug te komen!

Onze ervaring in dit restaurant was geweldig. Het eten was niet alleen lekker, maar ook perfect bereid. Wat het echt bijzonder maakte, was het personeel. Ze waren ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam, en gaven ons het gevoel dat we echt welkom waren. Ze namen de tijd om aan al onze wensen te voldoen en zorgden ervoor dat we het naar ons zin hadden. Dit restaurant is zeker een plek waar we graag nog eens terugkomen!

The bedroom was just adequate but pillow were soft acrylic type. But the big disappointment was the bathroom. Not big enough to accommodate a larger frame (1.89cm height) getting in fully. Sink was very small with a tap the was too large and therefore the floor was constantly wet. The shower cabinet di not have anywhere to put soap/shower gel.

The room had cobwebs above the window but the room was clean, I went to the bar service was so slow that I gave up waiting and went to the room. The fire alarm rang at 3am, followed by people banging the room doors and fire doors throughout the remainder of the night at approximately 15 minute intervals, this combined with people talking, moving furniture around and the strong smell of cigarette smoke coming into the room from outside made sleep impossible. I went to breakfast at 7am, non of the tables had been cleared, I layed a table, no eggs were available, the egg cook was not there, no fruit salad was available, the lady on check out was very apologetic, I went outside, the ashtrays at the hotel entrance were full and the ground was littered with cigarette ends, The smell was overpowering. I use the Bastion hotel at Geleen regularly it is fantastic.
