Hotel rooms are in a separate area from the reception and bar/restaurant, and rooms are rather cosy. Car parking is rather limited, but free if available. The breakfast is a la carte, and quite excellent, served in the dining room directly overlooking the harbour. Staff are exceptionally helpful.

Booked a 3 night with breakfast deal. Breakfast amazing. A bit stressful on first day as no parking available. Was told it could not be reserved as was for patrons, not sure what we were then. Parked in council car park overnight £1.40. Harbour near Salt £10 for 12 hours. Got up early to park car and dare not move it after that. Room 6 very comfortable with steep stairs. Smaller than expected but the view is amazing over the town and harbour. Tried to reserve a table for dinner,booked it on arrival but found nothing reserved, we specifically asked for downstairs due to mobility but was relocated up stairs with a chip shop roof view. A better holiday after sorting the car. Doubt if we will return as stairs steep and could not get in the bath due to mobility. Downstairs room on full view to public and seems small.

Came here after searching wheres serving Sunday lunch/dinner ,so we thought we'd give it a go, good reviews arrived asked table for two for Sunday lunch , man said oh il see if we have space as we hadn't booked reserved a table , said give him 5 mins after 10min he came back to say table ready to follow him upstairs, restaurant was empty apart from couple tables in use , sat down asked about what drinks we'd like , usually way, then ... Menu for food no Sunday lunch advertised so again we asked we after Sunday lunch menu please he replied sorry but we stopped doing Sunday lunches about a month ago , disappointed but hungry and had already waited a while so decided to order off the menu , man then said sorry there's no this or that in total about 5 meals not available so we ordered what was available then waited for our starters had quite a wait , it arrived fresh hot but out opinion not value for price , mains again tasty hot , no complaints on food its self , staff/ waiter polite and attentive restaurant clean tidy although extremely disappointed about Sunday lunch we give you rating of 6

The room was lovely and clean and very large. Staff were really nice and very helpful. Breakfast and evening meal was fantastic, would 100% recommend. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends. Thank you very much for the lovely stay

Excellent service lovely staff Sophie goes that extra mile Elliot is a fantastic manager will recommend this to my friends and family food is the best I’ve ever had the restaurant is very clean and tidy all staff are brilliant will be coming back very soon

A fantastic location with lovely views of the harbour. A beautifully decorated, comfortable room, which was tastefully furnished and very well equipped. Breakfast was superb, all staff were friendly and helpful service was very good. We dined there twice - downstairs and in the lovely upstairs dining area. Seafood dishes were excellent and again the service was really first class.
