On arrival our expectation were high, hotel right on the seafront, carparking ample, we were excited. However, took the lift to the 4th floor. Entered the long corridor, and a dirty smell hit us, best described as a dirty hoover bag smell. Swiftly moving on, entered the room which smelt the same. Instictively, you go to open a window, however windows are closed shut permanently. We asked reception for a fan, which was given. This made no difference. Being asthmatic, whilst in the room/corridor it was extermely difficult, my breathing worsened and I became ill, and our 2night stay should have been cut short. Breakfast, poor no staff. Evening meal 45min wait, due to lack of staff not customers. We will not be visiting this Premier or any other Premier Inn again. The cost of a 2-night stay £358.96. I did emailed the hotel and the Head Office with no reply. In my opinion, all carpeted areas need cleaning. Disappointed to say the least.
