This is a non-smoking one-bedroom apartment with a queen-sized bed. Located just minutes off Route 4 between Woodstock and Killington. It is convenient for mountains, lakes, and more. It is a great place for a trip skiing, hiking, biking, kayaking, or horseback riding. The apartment has a small kitchen. It has almost everything you need to make a meal except the food. Curtis and I live in the yellow house across the driveway and welcome any requests you might have. We are located on a dead-end country road, on 10 acres of quiet and enjoyable land. The feedback from guests says we are very clean, cozy, comfortable, and perfect for their getaways. Quiet night in VT
Lovely banana bread greeted me when I arrived and there was fresh milk and orange juice as well. A bit off the beaten track, but a lovely one bedroom apartment just right for a weekend in Vermont.

Very well appointed
Cozy and everything you could need. Really nice kitchen set up and excellent appliances. After a week on the road, the washer & dryer were a welcome refresh of clothing. It's a few minutes west of Woodstock down a country road, so secluded. Takes dogs - wish we had one!

Lovely Place with Great Host!
Our stay at Ellen’s place was great! We were a short drive away from killington so that made it easy to get there in the morning! The place was clean and looked just like the listing, and Ellen left us a banana bread which was awesome! I can’t think of the last time I had a host as warm and inviting as Ellen, she really made the trip! The kitchen was also pretty well stocked for a rental, so we were able to cook pretty effectively. Overall, I think this was a great place to stay if you don’t want to pay the prices closer to the mountain!

Wonderfully Cozy
Just pack your clothes- because you’ll have pretty much everything else you’ll need in this very clean and cozy apartment. Felt very inviting and a lot like home. Never met the hosts but if you need anything, they are just a text away! The road is very dark at night but there’s a motion detector in the drive way as soon as you pull up … I also like the motion detector nightlights throughout the apartment. Easy, comfortable and cozy about sums it up! Highly recommend!!!

Amazing stay
A wonderful stay at Vermont Retreat. Love the wooded location. Quiet and restful. Hosts were readily available. Delightful to find banana bread, coffee, and OJ waiting for me, on arrival. The place was equipped with everything one could possibly need. The washer and dryer in the apartment were a very convenient plus! I hope to return next year.
