Well I don't know where to start, this hotel was great. Started by a really good greeting with temika and lisa, followed by a great rum punch. Our bags were taken to our room, the room was very nice,I had requested a birthday,so when we entered, the bed had been done up with balloons, and a towel birthday cake. The room was very clean, and a nice big balcony, the only downside of the room was the shower wasn't great. The food was great, especially the al a carte night, unfortunately we didn't know the downside was,if you did not make breakfast, then you wouldn't know, information about certain thing's wasn't given,so a bit disappointing ie vouchers for the sister beach club, and when we first arrived, for the first 3 day's we did not have to book in for dinner,so could be confusing, but dear nakita, kindly accomadated us. The entertainment could of been better, found it was on a little early,as many people were still eating,so feel the entertainment should be a little later. I loved the fact that the manager's came up to you personally to say hello, great touch, and adored the fact, the chefs presented themselves, just great. All the staff were great, loved Alicia's dancing and singing, loved Richards smiley face, loved ja ja he proper looks out for you. You are all like a big family, keep up the good work. Will definitely be returning. Lots of love from England Tammy and lisa x

Very friendly staff, always happy to help and just like friends we could have a laugh with them. Room was lovely. The food although there was plenty of it, was disappointing we seem to have the same thing most days for lunch and dinner. I expected fresh fish cooked in different ways (grilled, bbq) but we seemed to get the same fish which was always baked! Thank goodness for the ribs, burgers and the hotdogs and salads. The special food nights were also good. - Caribbean night and Chopsticks. Ramon who we thought was the Entertainment Manager was in fact the Entertainment Coordinator was brilliant! always helpful, polite, friendly, happy to recommend places to go and give directions. He was always keen to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, making the most of our days in Barbados. Thank you Ramon for being amazing, a great asset to the hotel!

September 20th -October 4th Room 371 This was our first visit to Barbados and what can I say . Savannah Beach Hotel was amazing, we couldn’t have had a better experience as first timers. The arrival in the reception was friendly and welcoming with a rum cocktail. We had assistance with our cases to our lovely room. The sea view we had requested was beautiful. The room had the housekeeping staff in every day keeping it up to standard. The staff in the bar/restaurants were fantastic, they were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. There was never a dull moment. The food in both restaurants was lovely , plenty of choice and entertainment also was brilliant, from singers to limbo dancing and a fire eater. I was looked after with my beers , by the end of the holiday I had gained a nickname. ‘The Beer Guy’ When we come back to Barbados , Savannah will definitely be our first choice. Thank you all very much x

We stayed at the Savannah Beach Club Oct. 3-6, 2024. All of the management team members on location were very helpful. The staff was very accommodating, and the chef was very accommodating to our dietary preferences. The rooms were nicely sized and meticulously clean. We were met and greeted with smiles throughout our stay. The live entertainment was soothing to the ear and well organized. The pools throughout were very clean, and the grounds were very well kept. We enjoyed the beach, as we were able to see small sea turtles on several occasions. I have no issues with this resort, as my clients loved their experience. I would definitely recommend this resort as a go-to for couples, families, and friends.

A wonderful 4th stay at this very special haven. Paradise in every way. Firstly, the team, first class, and so so friendly and kind. It would be wrong to single anyone out, everyone has been incredible (but we did love Beverley and as it is her Birthday today we will say a special thank you to her, the most glam lady on the island). The building, rooms and grounds are very ‘boutique’ and immaculate. We have stayed in many places on this perfect island since the 80s but Savannah is my favourite, and have stayed with my best friend, my husband and with the family. Food, restaurants exceptional. Service world class. Beach lovely and position great for walks and seeing places out and about. It is very safe. Do not hesitate to go. We leave tonight but a huge thank you to Mr Messiah GM and your incredible team. See you very soon with the family. Linda and Jacqui xx

Spent 2weeks at the hotel and the hotel has not changed very much from 8 years ago. The breakfast was great but lunch and dinner average .The beach is kept clean by the beach staff and plenty of beech towels provided/ for going in sea you will need something on your feet as rocky/ there are plenty of other beaches within walking distance or get the yellow bus to Holetown and get sunbed +umbrella approx. 30BBD for the day great bar/restaurant on beech When booking room recommend the pool view rooms as the courtyard rooms are too near kitchen odours for me Overal the staff were great and made my stay fab - The hotel is in need of a proper refurb - it is dropping into 3:4 star instead of 4.star

We stayed here for 10 days. Would definitely recommend. The staff were fantastic, nothing too much trouble, very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and serviced regularly, with lots of storage space and a comfortable king-size bed. The views are awesome, regardless of which room you are in. We had 2 rooms for our stay, both overlooking the pool. Ours had stairs from our room, which was convenient for a daily dip, or the main pool where drinks are served in Drifters. Food was superb, very Bajan which is tasty and varied. Didn't go a-la-carte in Rachel's as food in Drifters was perfect. The beach at The Savannah is a Turtle laying destination so we were thrilled on our first night to see over 300 hatchlings. Overall I would recommend, for the staff, cleanliness of the hotel and location. We will definitely be back... only downside is 10 days isn't long enough..

WE NEVER THOUGHT WE WOULD HAVE WITNESSED HELL ON EARTH!!!!!!!! EXTEMELY,EXTEMELY RUDE RECEPTION STAFF We have read previous reviews and we had our reservations about visiting this hotel but for the guest who said they had a good time we unfortunately cannot relate or the good reviewers are being paid. The reception staff enjoyed saying no- in fact everything we asked was greeted with a no! Very unhelpful and uninterested as were most of all not customer friendly. We visited the reception on several occasions during our stay which ended couple days ago and the staff failed to engage in our request and needs to us we felt as we were inconveniencing them as they were all very pensive, dreadful and a disgrace to be in reception customer service jobs. We witnessed staff arguing amongst themselves and complaining that their system has been changed and they were left to figure it out not knowing what to do. We then asked for the leader or manager of the front desk, who did not know how to help us as she was also amongst the staff complaining. Marsha you and your staff need training then you can revert to your post in all our years of travelling we have never witness such a dysfunctional reception team. These staff leaves you feeling very turned around and does not solve any issues. We believe robots would have treated us nicer. We was very disappointed with this hotel. We though this was a 4* hotel, which we would rate 2*. at best. This is not a hotel for anyone that cannot climb stairs. We had to climb 4 flights of stairs to our room which my husband has bad knees and by the end of the holiday is in lots of pain. The lone elevator is only on one side and moves slower than if you are actually climbing the stairs. Empty glasses and plates were left for days at the bottom of the stairs. We did encounter rain which then led to the roof of the building that went into our wardrobe leaking and we had puddles of water in the wardrobe and on the floor in our room making all our clothes damp and started to smell. The room we had was okay, but so basic, it felt like a hotel or hostel I stayed in when I was in my early 20’s not 50’s, water runs very slowly and has cheap shampoos and soaps. The internet connection was to be honest and fair great for at least ten minutes at a time, constantly fading in and out and one having to regularly reboot. Slightly surly service in the restaurant, some pleasant, others not so. Beverly very rude. Food very very underwhelming, and so we decided to eat out most nights, as the hotel was depressing. A bit more money would have been more prudent and next time we would stay at a much nicer resort, as the island is stunning and this hotel really should be avoided at all cost. This was supposed to be a special holiday of lovely memories but just left bad memories. Sorry for the review, but I’m just been brutally honest - really if you’re looking find somewhere else!!!

First off please discard the the few bad reviews that are below I am currently at the Savannah and have been since the 12th of September. When we arrived we were made to feel welcome and the lady at reception was amazing . We walked in and stright away they went and got us drinks from the bar and they could not have done enough for us . I have not come across one rude person and and its just smiles everywhere The food has been out of this world and I have down at drifters and the amount of choice is verry good . The bar was great makeing us cocktails that were amazing I have been coming to barbados for years and you can't beat the Savannah beach hotel The room could not have been nicer I want to give a big thank you to Ramón he has made our trip by going above and beyond what we could have asked him There was never a day where he did not put on amazing things for us to do and his number one priority was that we had a good time we will be coming back to the Savannah as soon as possible Thank you Ramón We have some videos to add when we get home
