Crowne Plaza ST. Louis Airport

We seriously loved this place!! Other than the fact it just LOOKED like a cool place to stay from the pics, it actually was a really cool place to stay. My 10 and 14yr olds, my husband and I stayed for this visit. Husbands aren't that cool so he didn't really care lol ;). But me and my 2 girls absolutely loved riding in the elevator. You can pay more for a higher room and more for a room with an indoor balcony. We did neither but were lucky enough to get up on the 4th floor. The elevator is activated with your room key, and you can only go on the floor your room is, the lower level with the pool and dining and the main level (entrance), so no fun rides to the top lol. The room was clean and spacious. It didn't smell. The beds seemed clean as well as the bathroom. We LOVED the atrium feature, getting up at 6am to swim while being able to look at the sunrise and the clouds was so much fun. My girls and I decided when we come back to the area that we want to stay here EVERY TIME lol. Complaints are minimal and they are made up by how much we enjoyed the hotel. Didn't care for having to pay to park at the hotel. There are free spots but that is very limited. The water looked kinda cloudy... Which made me feel a little weird, but we got in anyways and had a blast. The floor of the pool is very...scratchy and easy to cut yourself on. My daughter scaped her elbow on it and when she got out it started bleeding a little. They need to refinish the lining of the pool for sure. However, the pool was heated and we appreciated that.

Hotel was great and clean and beautiful. I was to early for my room and I was exhausted from traveling and they managed to get me in my room very fast.. thank you front desk.. housekeeping did a lovely job on 518. Not one thing was wrong and I am picky. On the other hand, I do smoke and I went outside to sit in my vehicle and smoke late in the night and was harassed and attacked verbally by a gentleman claiming to be a police officer. Very hateful and rude and disrespectful. I was parked inside the gated lot. And was approached with rude questions and insulting tones like me and my husband were criminals. And because I stood up for myself and refused to back down and answer private questions about where I was staying and what room,to someone off duty with no badge, he was trying to get me kicked out if my room in the middle of the night. The police officer on duty help resolve the situation and I went to my room. But it was a very bad moment all because we couldn’t sleep and was having a conversation in our vehicle inside the gated parking for the crown plaza.. shame on the man for being rude and thanks to the officer that handled things well. Maybe should get that guy outta that line of work. But I would stay again hands down cause the hotel was great.. and staff was amazing.. thank you crown plaza

The open lobby is renovated and has a bar and a convenience shop. There are countless conference rooms, which sounds like what typically books this hotel. The elevators ran smooth and fast, but you do need your keycard to get between floors. Our room was very average and needed upgrades very very badly. The pool was very interesting. The whole hotel smells like chlorine from it, but it has a salt or sand bottom?! There is some parking in the front, the back lot is a paid lot, but they give you a code to bypass it. I will say, I did see a front desk staff member assist a blind man to safe seating, as the floors were wet from snow, which I found very honorable.

Multiple rooms were blocked off for a weekend stay. All but one room was dirty. Hair, nail clippings, unmade beds, very dirty bathrooms, trash cans all over the hotel were full. The staff was lacking in all areas. The bar had dirty wine glasses. House service never answered the phone. You can smell mold coming from the in room HVAC units from lack of maintenance. I will never bring my team here again! Terrible!

The hotel was very nice and clean. My family really enjoyed staying here.
