On 27 November my friend and I arrived on bicycle mid afternoon cold, wet and very tired. Our plan was a quick cup of tea and something to eat before finding a camping spot before dark. Immediately struck by how friendly all staff were. Kitchen had closed but they rustled up lovely pumpkin soup for us. Decided to check their bunkhouse but I was out of date, it had closed 10 y ago! Decided to stay the night. The receptionist was especially helpful finding somewhere for our bicycles and our wet tents. Very concerned that we would be leaving the next day before breakfast was served and sought to arrange some food for us and arrangements to leave early. Truly fantastic customer service all round, a model. Mike

Lovely scenic location. Close to hill walks and all Glencoe Valley has to offer. Good place for an overnight on your way through. Decent restaurant and very good free breakfast.
Comfortable beds and clean bathroom.

Surpassed any expectations I may have had. Reception was friendly and efficient. Room was spotless and bed really comfy. Tired after along walk on the WHW I thought I’d try dinner. Amazing food. Totally blown away. Breakfast was as good as you’d expect. Thank you.

Over a 3 night stay, every single member of staff was incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful - consistency suggests everyone was pulling together and was a good team. Food was superb - we managed to work through half of the menu and never disappointed. Breakfast was superb, happily all cooked to order. I’d shout out individuals who excelled but they would all end up getting a mention. Superb small hotel. Worth a return trip. Thank you all of you.

When you are walking down path of the West Highland Way and arrive at the Bridge of Orchy Hotel and you see hikers happily chatting around the picnic tables out front, you immediately you feel welcomed. What a nice place to stay! The staff was warm and welcoming, the room, although small, was warm and inviting with great care given to the decoration, and the food was delicious. Our room faced the front of the hotel and we could hear the happy chatter throughout the day and later that evening we heard a piper playing in the cool, evening dark. What would you pay for that? It was one of my favorite places we stayed on the WHW.

Lovely hotel, wonderful food, great bar staff. Local craft beer dominates their tap list. My favorite stay while walking the West Highland Way. Staff is very accommodating to needs of customers. Wonderful customer service. I would recommend to any travelling in the area.

We needed a bolt hole after cold wet camping. The hotel is lovely in many respects but the standout is the staff attitude. Welcoming, helpful, good humoured, respectful, efficient. I could go on. Within a few minutes we had a room booked, space provided for bikes and drying tents and hot drinks and then supper. This is a great example of what an independent hotel can do.

Absolutely fabulous hotel. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff, they made you feel very welcome. The food was excellent. We had a room outside the hotel. It was warm & comfortable, the shower was great, and the fridge with fresh milk & water was welcome. The scenery around the hotel is breathtaking. Will definitely be back.

Lovely room overlooking the river and bridge. Super bath to relax in after walking from Crianlarich. Restaurant great with fabulous evening meal and breakfast. Gluten free options. Staff attentive and friendly. Only small issue was TV in our room temperamental… no sound for normal channels like bbc and stv though ok on the more obscure ones! Didn’t really affect us so we didn’t feel we could be bothered highlighting it to the hotel staff.
