After an extremely long day on my feet attempting to run the West Highland Way, This hotel is a stunning Jacobean building in a wide and handsome glen. I staggered through the front door to be met by Ramona who was super kind and made me feel really welcome. She gave me the choice between one of the quieter rooms close to the river, or a room in the main hotel with a bath. Suffering muscle fatigue I was, the bath was important. I loved the peatiness of the bath water after the rain! It was hot and deep and just what I needed. The room was huge and the bed wide and I fell asleep the instant my head touched the pillow. The food bordered on gourmet and the staff in the restaurant were charismatic and entertaining. I didn’t know veggie haggis was a thing but I wholeheartedly approve. I would also add that the BOO doesn’t skimp on quality with their coffee, they offer plenty for vegetarians, including delicious chilli and avocado for breakfast. Don’t come here if you don’t like hillwalking or appreciate the wildness of the highlands - but this was truly Scottish hospitality at its finest and I can’t wait to return.

Two of our group ordered Chicken pie and when the meals arrived the pies had no pastry, when this was questioned the plates were taken back to the kitchen then returned a few minutes later and we were informed the kitchen had ran out of pastry. After asking we were given one slice of bread. When the bill came we asked for a discount due the pastry issue. We were offered a £5 discount from the food bill although our combined food and drink bill came to £200. Very disappointing food for a he price. Will not return and would advise anyone to avoid eating at this hotel . We did originally plan to return for breakfast the next day but decided against that due to our experience the previous night. My advice is travel 10 minutes to Tyndrum for food, more choice and better value.

Glad to be back at the Bridge of Orchy Hotel. Room was perfect, great food all made possible by a fantastic team. Big shout out to Nicky, Simao, Máté and Duncan. Thoroughly recommend this base to anyone walking the west highland way and Beinn Dorain which is on the hotels doorstep. Thank you Bridge of Orchy Matt and Max

I have had the good fortune to walk the West Highland Way several times, and in the past I have eaten lunch at the Bridge of Orchy Hotel but never stayed overnight. This year, with a group of photographers, I spent two nights there (and then one dinner time a few days later). It was deeply wonderful. The staff is friendly, conversation-able, imaginative, and welcoming. Ramona (at the front desk) was especially kind. The rooms (I stayed in both the main building and then the rooms just behind the main building) are warm, clean, and comfortable. The food is excellent. I recommend the Bridge of Orchy Hotel to everyone traveling that part of Scotland!

We recently stayed here again, it’s as always a real pleasure to stay here. The bedrooms are excellent and spotlessly clean. The highlight as always is the breakfast but most importantly the dinner. Every single dish we had over the two nights was delicious and a credit to the excellent head chef and her team. The Venison was my favourite. The waiting staff behind the bar and serving in the restaurant were so friendly, special mention to Simao and Anita. And the front office team greet you with such warmth special mention to Joss. We unfortunately didn’t have the chance to say thank you to the General manager as he was taking a well deserved day off. We will be back for sure

Cute and very isolated, nice enough food. Wouldn’t travel specifically just to stay there as it’s too expensive for what it provides or location…

Gorgeous hotel, lovely staff, and in the perfect location. We loved our room (room 6). The room was spacious, we loved the tea, coffee, and cookies, and the bathroom was well equipped. Check in was easy, and we were able to secure dinner reservations.

Visited Bridge of Orchy Hotel for food on 28th Sept. The food arrived within 5 minutes of ordering, it was unnervingly quick. All 4 plates of food lacked heat. There was an offer to reheat it, but everyone is nervous to send food back to a kitchen! Our timing may have been a bit off as we were told, and heard everyone around us being told that it was just about to get busy at 7pm, maybe that explains the rush to get things out of the kitchen without the necessary care. The manager that showed us to the table confused us with the volume and speed of information. The waitress that took our order and delivered the drinks and food was fantastic. I was a little surprised to see a 'classics' section on the menu that included 3 burgers from 5 dishes. It won't be my choice of stopping point the next time I pass. I will wait the additional ten mins to get to Tyndrum. A real shame.

Another fantastic stay. This is our happy place. The rooms are clean and have everything you need including a fridge and fresh milk. We always try and stay in rooms 40 - 46. These are separate from the hotel and are situated at the back of the hotel, they have the best views and a little porch. The staff are friendly and attentive and always make you feel welcome. The food is exceptional. My husband had the soup of the day to start and I had the Glasgow gin and beetroot cured salmon both were extremely tasty. My husband had the venison and I had the sea bass again both were excellent. We didn't have any room left for a sweet though - maybe next time. The breakfast again had a good choice, my husband had the Scottish breakfast and I had the eggs highlander (poached eggs with haggis on sourdough muffins). Can't wait to return.
