From the flower bar where guests can create a small bouquet for the room, to the cupcakes that greet you upon arrival, the 3-course breakfast that always feels special, and the luxurious sheets! There aren’t enough stars in the world to review this place! Inside and out, every design choice is flawless and creates a beautiful, warm, welcoming environment. There are multiple cozy and comfortable common spaces, and each guest room is stunning and unique, with extremely comfortable beds, amazing bedding, and super luxe robes. The three-course breakfasts and afternoon snacks are outstanding. But the real magic of the inn is the incredible hospitality of Laurie and Jason. Their warmth, humor, incredible attention to detail, and ability to make each guest feel like their favorite make you feel at home the minute you enter the inn and make you miss it in between visits. Laurie and Jason are the absolute best and we can’t wait to go back again!!

Our entire stay was absolutely perfect. Me and my boyfriend were gifted the quiet seasons package and our expectations were beyond exceeded. The cheeseboard and wine we received was not only picture worthy but delicious too. The homemade jam and fresh cheeses were out of this world! Jason and Laurie are wonderful hosts and make you feel so welcomed and comfortable. The breakfast and baked goods are just unbelievably delicious and the service provided is outstanding. The Inn is also close by to so many cute shops, restaurants and beaches. We will be returning here for sure!

We just returned home from a wonderful weekend at the Captain Freeman Inn. We have stayed several times in the past and I am always amazed how each time we go there is something new! This time we got to enjoy the beautiful flower bar. It’s a gorgeous addition to the Inn and so fun to make our own arrangement! New products are in the gift shop and we were treated to a new breakfast item - orange infused brioche French toast!

We stayed three nights at Captain Freeman Inn and enjoyed every minute! Innkeepers Laurie and Jason transformed the historic inn dating back to the 1870’s into a bright, light, and charming home away from home. Colors are soft and muted, beautiful artwork throughout — even in the bathrooms. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Jason who showed us the gracious public areas with comfortable seating, including a tea room with lovely china. Fresh flowers were available along with individual vases for guests to create personal floral arrangements for their rooms. We looked forward to the breakfasts each morning — a scrumptious three course, cooked-to-order meal that was different each day. Your appetite will be well satisfied. Both Laurie and Jason helped us create a wonderful long weekend by identifying great restaurants, walking trails, and activities that satisfied our interests. The Inn is super clean. We slept very well in a comfortable king-size bed and appreciated the extra large bath with rainfall shower and other modern amenities. Afternoon treats were delicious. Perfect location for dining, shopping, beaches, and exploring the Cape — a very relaxed vibe. Definitely the #1 Inn on Cape Cod. We’ve already booked our next trip!

Every detail is considered. My husband and I felt truly spoiled by being the only guests at the inn for a few weekdays before the weekend guests arrived, and even when the inn became more busy, it was still a charming and relaxing experience. We are so looking forward to many happy returns to this magical place.
