We were booked May 2, 2026, to stay at the Anthonys's on the beach, which I booked through USAA. Our flight was supposed to leave at 3:00 pm and land at 6:00 on May 2. Our flight was cancelled and rescheduled to fly out at 8 pm. We attempted to call the hotel, but no one answered. We landed at 11:00 pm and had an hour ride to Coco Beach. Upon our arrival at Anthony's, it looked run-down and was dark. As we got out of the car, a man from Germany came running up to us, screaming to come look at the cockroaches. The man stated he tried to call the phone numbers on the door, and no one answered. We tried to call the numbers as well with no answer. We had no way to get into the room. I also tried to call the phone numbers, and no one would answer. The man staying at the hotel took my husband over and showed him the roaches running on the floor and even one in the bed. We tried to call again and still no answer. We had to take an Uber to another hotel and pay to stay there. I called the numbers when I returned from our cruise, and they stated that I should have called to let them know that I was going to be late. I told them I did call, and no one answered. They refused to give me my money back. USAA called them, and they called the people at Anthony's, and they still refused to give us our money back. BEWARE BEFORE YOU STAY HERE. THIS IS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
