Holiday Home Haras du Ry

We spent four lovely nights at this beautiful property and can't say enough good things. We were in the one bedroom flat which was absolutely gorgeous. The property itself is centrally located for anything you'd like to see in the Normandy region. It is easily reachable by car with ample parking. The grounds are stunning. It is a working horse training facility which is very interesting but it also has a lovely pond and beautiful gardens. After a long day of sightseeing we spent each night on one of the lovely little decks sipping cocktails and enjoying the ambiance. The flat itself is perfectly decorated and very comfortable. Exposed beams, huge working fireplace, and tasteful yet comfortable furniture. The rooms are very large with stone floors and beautiful windows. The bedding, linens and towels were high quality and the bed itself was very comfortable. Breakfast was delivered every day with your choice of local fresh baked goods, fruits, cold meats, juices etc...we couldn't have asked for more. On the night we arrived we requested a sharing plate for 2 which could have easily fed 4 - it was absolutely delicious. The staff were absolutely wonderful. We felt very welcome and very well cared for. Please stay here if you have a chance, it is truly special.

Gîte with great surrounding, pleasant views, horses and nice villas overlooking the lake. We had a great stay in 2 bedroom gîte with big living room and nice breakfast served in the room. Nice details in the rooms and comfortable clean beds. Weather was super nice during our stay in July and we had no problem with cooling/warming air conditioning. Helpful and nice staff working there, happy to show us around and gave us information about horses and riding in the area.

I cannot express how much we enjoyed our stay at Haras Du Ry. Absolutely every aspect of the accommodation exceeded our expectations. The hosts are generous, everything about the property is generous. The property has such exceptional natural beauty it is impossible not to fall in love with the lifestyle that Haras Du Ry offers. I can’t wait to visit again, and again and again. There are not enough words to express how idyllic our time at Haras du Ry has been.

We randomly found this place while organising a family event nearby. It was a great surprise to spend one night here. The room is large enough, beautifully decorated, with a vintage bath. Everything is comfortable. Yes, We plan to come back.
