Guests appreciate the friendly and efficient service. They enjoy the lovely, cozy rooms with comfortable beds. The full English breakfast is highly praised.

Our daughter had our wedding here and it was amazing ! The helpfulness of staff -they worked like Trojans! - the food and the setting were perfect for what she and her new husband wanted. We can’t thank the staff enough for making the day so memorable and for being so accommodating. Pity we can’t give them 11/10!!!!

We went to this pub after a day at Weston Arboretum, we had booked in advance and chosen our meals to help them out . We arrived and drinks outside before venturing in for our meals . The waitress showed us to the area where we were to sit and found it to be made up of three tables . We said we had ordered prior to arriving where she said the menu had changed and a number of the meals were not available, stating that the menus are dealt with by others not the staff locally . Not best pleased at that but recovered and we all ordered and shortly it stated to arrived . One of the meals was the lamb which was un able to eaten due to the amount of fat on the little meat there was . The other meals were so so , overall won’t rush back to this place although a lovely old pub they need to sort the food out .
