I would like to start out stating the staff was very pleasant and friendly! I selected this one because it was close to the highway In which I was going! Price range was manageable! However I had buyer’s remorse!I read some of the previous comments but obviously they had a different perspective!This particular Holiday Inn is either under renovation or needs renovations and repairs! When I entered my room on the 3rd floor I noticed a strong stench! I don’t know if it was a case of filters needing change, carpet needed to be replaced, pet urine that was not cleaned properly , or all of the above! The next issue was there was no toilet paper holder! (See attached photo) Security is always a concern for me! The peep hole did not have the universal cover that prevents individuals from looking in, so I twisted some tissue paper and stuffed the hole myself for safekeeping! I had a bottle of water that I wanted to keep cold !When I opened the fridge as pictured there was excessive water as if it had not been cleaned out! Please note this Holiday Inn serves breakfast but it cost you$10.00! All I can say choose wisely!

From the moment we walked in the lobby, we felt welcomed. I didn't catch the younger gentleman and woman behind the desks name, but they were just wonderful. The young man asked if I had brought the Mountain Dew I was drinking for him, so I offered to share it with him. He ended up going and making me a juice drink to take up to the room. Not only was it so thoughtful, but it was delicious! Bed was extremely comfortable...it was nice enough that we book again for tonight, but unfortunately, our truck messed up and we had to come home. Hoping that we will be able to make it back to finish our trip sometime soon! EVERYONE we spoke to in this hotel was so friendly. Job well done!
