Property Description
This is a chance for a unique Pacific Northwest experience. The property is a rare opportunity to experience living on the Puget Sound....It is truly one of a kind. Professionally decorated beach house sits out over the Puget Sound. Wake up with the sun light filtering through the many windows. Walk out on a private deck over looking the expansive view with a hot cup of coffee. Just a few steps down to a very private beach. Search for crabs, go clamming, look for oysters, or build a rock collection. At night snuggle up on the deck, and listen to the tide come in or relax by the indoor electric fireplace in the bedroom on those chilly NW nights. Beach house has expansive windows for sweeping views, fully stocked kitchen and linens, washer and dryer, 65" t.v., and WIFI if you really need to be connected but we have a feeling you won't. Minutes away from the Bremerton downtown area with fountain park, naval museum, and eateries. Catch a ferry to downtown Seattle for a day trip to the markets, museums, theater, and so much more. Close by is plenty to do from golf, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, bowling, breweries, camping....most of all RELAXING. For larger parties you can stay at our other house End of The Point "Main House", or rent both houses together. You can find the home through VRBO Listing #392202 *** Please note that there are about 10 stairs to get down to the property. This was our third visit, we love this cozy cottage. Super relaxing with a view you never get tired of. We took the kayaks out in oyster bay where you can see thousands of moon jelly fish. The NAD marine park is just a short walk away. But our favorite thing was just relaxing around the cottage and hanging out on the deck. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment. Looking forward to returning next year!

What a wonderful and relaxing stay. The view was everything we hoped for and the entire place was comfortable and easy. We enjoyed kayaking around Oyster Bay, being greeted by the sunbathing seals, and exploring the historical naval ammunition depot. Being so close to the water was amazing as we watched the jellyfish and seals swim by right below us. A one-of-kind place to make beautiful memories.

This property is the one you want if you want to litterally sit on the water. While the cabin could use some love and maintenance, we chose to return due to the location on the sound and the access to kayaks, along with the stunning views. You cannot get closer to the water unless you’re on a houseboat. Jellyfish (moon jellyfish - the harmless type) are abundant. Crabs and seals kept us entertained during our stay. Gulls would enjoy their fresh catches on the water and land when tide was out. An old pier and a sunken sailboat are in the water ready for exploration. Relaxing area in the sound with minimal boat traffic. Even on Labor Day weekend, it wasn’t packed with motorboats. More of in and out traffic, but def left for the ease of kayaking on still waters. Plenty of towels provided for a week’s stay. Love that they have everything needed in the kitchen. If you’re more about the indoors - the views are still stunning. Would recommend and plan on renting again.

We have stayed here once before and absolutely adore this cottage on the water. It is cozy and you are blown away by the view of the water. The host are very friendly and timely in their responses as well!

The location of this property could NOT be any better. On the absolute end of a spit of land and directly on the water with amazing views. When the tide is in, the deck is literally out over the water and seals and water fowl will swim right by. When the tide is out, there is a small rocky beach that you can explore. Kayaks are supplied if that interests you. The cottage itself is relatively small and as previously mentioned does have very short ceilings. This did not bother us at all as we were expecting a seaside type cottage with quirks. The floors are uneven, the cabinets are oddly shaped and it just adds to the character. The large windows in the living room look directly onto the water so even in poor weather there will be a lovely view. The outdoor patio space is adorable and where we spent almost all of our time while we were not sleeping. The cottage was very clean but there is some evidence of it being a bit worn down and could use some general upkeep. Some of the wood trim is rotting, the deck is extremely worn in spots, the outdoor rug is pretty tattered etc. It didn't bother us much but if guests are very particular it might be bothersome. There are several upgrades in the cottage...the bathroom appears completely redone, the kitchen appliances all seem very new etc...so there is definitely some attention being paid to this. It is also located an easy drive to the ferry to Seattle. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed this stay and would visit again.

This property could use some updating to furniture, exterior furniture cushions and deck repair. We did, however, enjoy the quaintness of the property. The location was perfect as it wss right on the water with beach access. Bonus was the use of the canoes complete with oars & life jackets. The unit was well stocked. I would recommend the updates to make your stay more comfortable but overall we enjoyed our stay.

This was our second time staying on the property and this time we rented both the cottage and the main house. It is hard to find a house this close to the water and it was wonderful. The patio overlooking the bay is amazing.

We loved staying here. The description should have included rustic but that is not a negative. If you are expecting the Hilton, forget it. But if you want a comfortable place to stay with a great view and access to the water, this is it. Appliances are all new. Using the kayak was wonderful. The water is very calm. We would stay here again in a minute and are already looking at dates for next year

This was such a darling beach cottage. It is a little quirky, but we loved it! Very comfortable beds, loved the kayaks, and very clean. Only odd thing was the AC is set up to vent out to an open window causing it get a little muggy inside. We were gone most of the time during the day, so it didn’t bother us too much. My boys had so much fun looking for crabs. We also saw hundreds of jellyfish! Overall absolutely loved this place.
