The staff was always ready to help with any issues. The breakfast was great with fresh baked cake (vegan, just for me), lots of superfoods on offer as well. Great for business overnights as well as longer stays in an apartment. The manager, Alex, is very personable and represents the Hotel wonderfully.

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was very clean and modern. Our room on the 10th floor had a great view. There are two swimming pools, an indoor and outdoor pool. The outdoor pool is really nice and offers great views whilst swimming. There is a steam room and numerous saunas although some of them were closed. Despite not being in the centre of Dornbirn, there is a shopping centre and exhibition centre next door and there are very frequent buses to the centre as well as the number 14 bus to Bregenz. The only negative I can think of is that there wasn't a door in the bathroom, which was a bit odd. It wasn't a big issue for me and my wife but could be for some people. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel and is very good value for money.

Very nice hotel with excellent customer service! We stayed for the Bregenzer Festspiele in this Hotel. The hotel is roughly 15-20 minutes walk by foot away from the city center and about 30 minutes walk away from the Festspielbuehne. However, there is a free shuttle bus to the opera festival. A big plus is the very large and free parking at the hotel. Rooms have a very nice air con, in hot August days a need to have feature. We enjoyed the stay and the Phantastin breakfast and will come back next year!

We were able to snag night at this hotel but had to move on due to a lack of rooms. We would have loved to stay longer if we could have. This is a fantastic hotel in a great location. This was a last-minute booking, so I cannot complain about the lack of room availability, and I was happy to get one night. The room was a suite and well equipped. In fact, it was an excellent room for the price. The staff was wonderful, and the location was perfect. It is walking distance to everything in Bregenz. I would return to this hotel, and I would highly recommend it to my friends. There is a bar attached to the hotel (KreuzBar, which is EXCELLENT and well run) and there is a restaurant connected by the courtyard/parking area behind the hotel. The train station, lake port, cable car, and pedestrian malls, are all within walking distance. The hotel itself is one of the best I’ve stayed in.

It is few years now that my husband and I are going to Bregenz Festival, enjoying Bodensee and the opera. This year we chose Messmer Hotel, and we've been very happy with the choice: right in the centre, conveniently close to everything worth seeing in Bregenz and in a waling distance from the venue of Bregenz Festival. We chose the package including ticket, an aperitif and dinner: we enjoyed it, everything was very good. Rooms are clean and cozy, very welcoming. The staff is very friendly and welcoming as well, making you feel at home. Definitely recommended!

Slightly dated IBIS hotel conveniently located for the station and the old town. One annoying point was the windows had been modified so that they could not be opened at all, so the room was stuffy and warm. (The air conditioning either did not work, or was inefficient, or had been centrally disabled at this time of year.)

Very pleasant hotel. Stayed there for 3 nights. We had 2 rooms there, one standard and the second - on top of the improved. Of course the view is very - beautiful. Cleaning was every day. Staff - friendly. The minus, you can attribute the parking of the hotel. It is where it is for 5 cars and if you park the car in the wall of the hotel, the back of the car will still be on the carriageway.

From the very first moment of our arrival at this hotel, our expectations were exceeded. The person checking us in simply could not possibly do more than he did to make us welcome. So friendly and helpful. That was just the beginning, however, because the restaurant manager and the young lady who served us were also amazing. We were pleased to meet the Director, Filip, next day and he too was great. He said that if there was anything he could do to help, we needed only to ask. As it turned out, we needed that help when we arrived at our NEXT hotel in Luzern. Filip was as good as his word, and gave us some advice that helped us enormously and saved our holiday from being ruined. All in all: wonderful people, beautiful place with superb decor. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. 110%.

We chose this hotel as we were going to the Bregenzer Festspiel and it was perfect. It is just a five minute walk to the train station and the train gets you to Bregenz in a few minutes more. It’s a brand new, stylish hotel, just a year old. We had a really nice, modern room with plenty of places to plug in our various devices. Although it overlooked a roundabout (and we could see to Austria in the distance), it was quiet and we slept well. The free bottle of water in the room is a nice touch. The nearest carpark costs 20 francs but you can park at the train station for 7 francs or free on the street until 9am. We were made to feel very welcome by both gentlemen on reception. A particular thank you to Herr Niederer who, as well as being friendly and professional, was generous with our welcome drinks. We will certainly be back!

GGuest UserLeider entsprach mein Aufenthalt im Seehotel am Kaiserstrand in Lochau nicht den Erwartungen, die man an ein Hotel dieser Kategorie stellen würde. Wir verbrachten drei Nächte im Hotel, waren eine Gruppe von 4-6 Personen plus Hund, und waren insgesamt sehr enttäuscht von der Erfahrung. Zimmer: Für den Preis hatten wir definitiv mehr erwartet. Obwohl wir zu zweit in einem Zimmer untergebracht waren, war der Raum mit seinen 15 Quadratmetern sehr beengt und eher als Einzelzimmer geeignet. Das Queen-Size-Bett war für zwei Personen unzureichend, und der Komfort ließ zu wünschen übrig. Hinzu kommt, dass für unseren Hund eine Gebühr von 40 EUR pro Nacht berechnet wurde, was in Anbetracht der Zimmergröße und des allgemeinen Serviceangebotes völlig überzogen wirkt. Service: Der Service war insgesamt enttäuschend. Im Badehaus wurden keine Reservierungen auf der Terrasse angenommen, was die Nutzung dieses Bereichs unnötig erschwerte. Besonders unzufrieden waren wir mit dem Shuttle-Service zu den Festspielen: Trotz der hohen Preise wurde kein flexibler Service angeboten. Erst nachdem wir mit der Stornierung der Zusatzleistung drohten, war das Hotel bereit, unsere zeitlichen Wünsche zu berücksichtigen. Der Service an der Bar war ebenfalls schleppend. Es dauerte lange, bis wir bedient wurden, und selbst einfache Snacks wie Nüsse wurden nur auf Nachfrage und nach längerem Warten serviert. Diese Verzögerungen und die fehlende Aufmerksamkeit des Personals trübten den Gesamteindruck erheblich. Liegen im Außenbereich waren nicht ausreichend vorhanden. Es entsteht der Eindruck, dass man gezwungen wird die Gastronomie zu besuchen um zu konsumieren. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: Für den Preis, den wir gezahlt haben, war das Gesamtpaket äußerst enttäuschend. Sowohl die Zimmergröße als auch der Service entsprachen in keiner Weise dem, was man von einem Hotel dieser Kategorie erwarten darf. Besonders ärgerlich war die hohe Gebühr für den Hund, die in keinem Verhältnis zur erbrachten Leistung stand. Fazit: Unser Aufenthalt im Seehotel am Kaiserstrand war leider eine Enttäuschung. Die Mängel im Service, die geringe Zimmergröße und das schlechte Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis führen dazu, dass ich das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen kann. Wer ein wirklich erholsames und gut betreutes Erlebnis am Bodensee sucht, sollte sich besser nach einer anderen Unterkunft umsehen.

The JUFA Hotel Bregenz is nice enough, and in a very convenient location, but there were a few issues that I'd like to share. While our room was very spacious, it was in the 2nd building (not the building in which the reception area and dining area are located). Our room was on the first floor and directly adjacent to a parking area and busy street. As the weather was warm and the rooms are not air-conditioned, we had some of our windows open and the noise from the parking lot and street was quite loud - some of the guests were leaving in their cars before 7:00 in the morning, talking, loading luggage, and banging their doors just a few meters from where we were trying to still sleep. When I mentioned this to the staff at checkout, they were not particularly sympathetic and didn't even seem interested in my comments. In their defense, the checkout process seemed to take an unreasonably long time and as there were only 2 people working that morning, the line of guests waiting to check out was quite long, so they might have been under some pressure to not address my concerns at that moment.
