Hebben in begin januari als bedrijf het hotel afgehuurd. Het hotel is historisch en heeft nog die uitstraling. De kamer was redelijk, slecht matras en een gedateerde badkamer waarbij je moet douchen in het bad met een douchegordijn. Ook de wastafel en de mengkraan waren zeer verouderd. Ontbijt was prima. Vanuit het hotel loop je zo het Mastbos in.

Stayed here over Christmas. Both days. Service friendly. Personnel works hard to provide guests with a pleasant stay. Christmas-dinner was good! Price hefty. Room on the first floor with a view of the back of the hotel. upon entering we opened all the windows to get rid of the smell. It seemed like the room was not used for some time. Either that or the vacuum of the cleaning lady was the cause of the smell. Squeacky floorboards and no 4-star beds. Beds not bad, bur not 'good'. either. Dusty bedsides, outdated decor. This hotel has so much potential! Shower and bath seemed clean and functional. Again, not a 4-star experience. No real glass to use when brushing. Towels have seen better days but plenty and soft. Breakfast was sufficient. again, no 4-star experience. Understaffed in the morning. Rented electric bikes from the hotel to get around which was good. At night we experienced the noises from upstairs, people come in at 01:30 and it woke us up. Soundproofing is needed. In conclusion: the hotel has a real warm feel to it. Everything is old and it breaths history which I like. Beautiful wood all over the place on the public ground floor. The floors where the rooms are and the rooms themselves are seriously outdated. I would not recommend.

Goed hotel in mooie omgeving
Op zich een prettig hotel. Schoon en verzorgd. Vriendelijk personeel. Een goed bed en nette badkamer.
De ventilatie mogelijkheden op de kamer laten te wensen over, waardoor het bij aankomst wat minder fris ruikt. Er is alleen een groot raam dat open kan.
Verder misten we een kluisje voor waardevolle spullen, zoals een laptop.

je moet er van houden
Je moet er van houden. Mooi oudbollig hotel. Nog lekker met zo'n ouderwetse sleutel. Dit hotel is perfect als je lekker wil wandelen. De kamer zelf is zeer basic. er staat niet eens een koffie machine. Maar goed als je alleen daar bent om te overnachten en niet teveel eisen stelt, is het allemaal prima.
