We stayed in the Chateau building of The Village. We were there for several days for my son’s wedding. The rooms were large and the view was decent. We had some very weird things happen. The Keurig exploded when using it at 5 am the next morning. They either need to get rid of it or fix it - don’t leave it there for unsuspecting guests. When we first got there I walked the condo to make sure everything was okay. What I didn’t notice at first glance were the false eyelashes stuck to the guest bathroom wall (looked like spiders and almost gave my sons girlfriend a heart attack) or the pile of clipped toenails on the side table in the same bedroom. Yes that’s what I said. Obviously that room was not cleaned. The last crazy thing was my 3rd son checked into the hotel late in the evening. There had been a wreck on I70 and he had been in the car for 7 hrs instead of 2. The front desk gave him a key to our room. But it wasn’t our room. It was someone else’s. He walked in to someone else’s condo late at night. Something bad could have happened. Luckily the people were nice if not a bit shocked. Just a bunch of crazy things on top of the stress of a wedding.

The condo was so clean and conveniently located. Excellent and timely communication. Just perfect! We hope to be back next spring break!

While I agree with other reviews that this condo “resort” is in a great location, we are here now and have had a horrible experience. We rented our place through VRBO. I’m hesitant to post this as it seems the HOA President likes to leave hateful comments after negative reviews. The parking garage is so small that we damaged our Toyota Highlander rental just trying to get in the super small garage. One worker told us he’d done that to several cars himself and it was a known problem. Then, we had to drag our luggage cart through the parking lot and 2 different buildings as we were given wrong directions of the correct garage for our building. But everything came to a head once we entered the room. I’m not even sure if housekeeping had done anything besides make the beds. There was food on the kitchen floor, 3 dirty socks behind one of the bathroom doors, an apparel sticker stuck to the carpet, a stain on the sheets-basically everything is dirty. The carpet is very stained and the bathrooms don’t have a light for the shower nor exhaust fans so the blinds were dripping wet after a quick rinse shower. We’re almost scared to sleep in the beds because we aren’t sure they’ve been changed. To top it off, there is construction everywhere (early July 2025) that was not disclosed as others have mentioned, and there is some kind of art show or something going on tomorrow because the parking lot is full of white tents and people hammering things in their booths. I don’t imagine we’ll get much sleep. But management was kind enough to put ear plugs in all the rooms due to the construction. If we hadn’t pre-paid $300 (plus all the fees plus $25 for parking) for the night and dragged our luggage all the way up here, we would have gone to find another place. Thank goodness we’re only here for one night.

Pros: quiet, clean, close to downtown, responsive and courteous staff Cons: keys to room did not work, elevators did not work, garage access did not work, check in tedious, rooms need updating Check in took an hour. We were exhausted from our flight. Mainly involved downloading an app to act as digital access to rooms/garage. Turns out the app failed multiple times to get us into the garage, into our rooms, leaving the garage. Big headache. At one point wouldn’t let me into the elevator. Couldn’t get to my car because the stairwell to the garage also was blocked off. Had to walk 1/2 km to the next building, down to the garage level, then all the way back across the where my car was parked 🤯 Also, the rooms need updating. Fixtures falling off, screen doors falling off. Vents dilapidated. And NB: there’s no AC

My family stayed here for three days during an end-of-ski season visit to the Breckenridge Ski Resort. This was our first time staying at this location. We will definitely return. The place is actually privately owned condominiums rather than a hotel. We rented through an ad on Airbnb. Check-in and parking was easy (though parking is expensive though I have found that to be the case everywhere in Breckenridge.) We got a two-bedroom / two-bath condominium so our kids would have their own room. We used an app on the phone to get in and out of the garage and the room. Nightly rate was very reasonable since we went at the end of the season. The condo was nicely decorated, comfortable beds, and a kitchen that had everything we needed to cook if we had planned on staying in. This place is at the base of the ski area right next to the ski lift. Literally two minutes from our door over to the lift. We checked our skis at the Christies on the plaza. We stayed on the last weekend before the Peak 9 base area closed so skiing in and out was very convenient. Main Street, restaurants, and shops are right next to the buildings. Good coffee place across from the entrance called Cabin Juice that had coffee and pastries. Really good Tex Mex place across the street called Mi Casa. Also a really good Italian place on the plaza called Sauce on the Maggie. We will definitely return.

This place has great potential, but unfortunately the customer service is awful. My family had a great stay at the property. My only complaint during the stay was seemingly wonky setup of TV and electronics, as there were extension cords and power strips all over the condo (it seemed like the place was just built without sufficient power outlets). When attempting to use the DVD player, the shelf holding it fell off the wall. I have included photos to show that the shelf was improperly installed using self-drilling nylon anchors that were not designed to hold this amount of weight cantilevered off the wall. I notified the front desk, explained what happened, and asked if they would like to look at it together. The two gentlemen at the front desk laughed it off and assured me it would not be a problem. They jokingly acknowledged that the shelf should have been secured into a stud vs. plastic anchors, and they said it would be re-installed the correct way. Then later that week, after I was back home 86 miles away, Melinda called, told me her engineer had damaged the shelf was properly installed and I had damaged it. She said it would cost $86 to repair, and she had already taken the liberty of charging my credit card. She immediately dismissed all of my questions, and when I asked to speak with her "engineer" she turned me down. I did not even receive an itemized receipt for the bogus charge. Please see photos below and tell me if you think this shelf was properly installed?

I parked inside the Villages parking garage like the front desk told me. Our room wasn’t ready and we had to wait 3 hours until it was ready. During that time frame I received a parking ticket for $20 because of the poor instructions by the front desk on exactly where it was ok to park. There were 15 minute spots and 3 hour spots all in the same small area. I explained the issue to the manager and he said he would take care of it. I even asked at check out if he took care of it and he said he did. Today I got a collection bill for $80. I t was a $20 parking ticket to start. Had I known the manager was lazy and a liar I would have just paid the ticket at that time.

We booked a 2 bedroom condo that was managed by SKI.COM and PINNACLE LODGING. It was advertised as a LUXURY condo. 1. When we finally got into our condo after the promised check-in time, it was dirty including food and pills on the floor and empty water bottles laying around. We had to call three days in a row about cleaning the condo before it was cleaned. 2. The furniture was in terrible condition. For example, the leather couch had a six-inch hole in it. The coffee table was banged up and closet doors were off their track. 3. Trash and pizza boxes were in the hallway and elevator. 4. There was no communication about no parking being available. We had to park 10 minutes away and take a shuttle. I have never written a review before but the accommodations were very disappointing and neither company stood behind the quality of the advertised luxury condominium.
