The fact that this hotel was pet friendly was wonderful. Many hotels advertise they are, and they are not. The hotel was situated in an easy to get to location, not too far from the freeway. The room was clean, and the refrigerator was a bonus. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful.

GGuest UserThis is a very pleasant hotel in the heart of Whittier. We were in town for a wedding and our host suggested this hotel. I'd never been to Whittier and was pleasantly surprised - it's in a very charming neighborhood with lots of restaurants, bars, shops and a movie theater within a short walk. The hotel is clean and pleasant, and our room was good - spacious with a comfy bed, bathroom was fine, good sized mini fridge. The tub seemed like it had sunk a little and water was pooling but otherwise it was fine. Nice patio with a pool and hot tub. There's a bar in the lobby but we didn't take advantage, as there's a good liquor store across the street and some fun places just up on Greenleaf. No free breakfast or even decent lobby coffee but there are multiple good options nearby for breakfast including a bakery across the street and the fast food restaurant across another street. There's also a farmers market on Fridays not far away. I don't know if we'll ever be back in the area but I definitely would stay again.

GGuest UserI stayed for a night and enjoyed my stay. Rooms were spacious, clean, and sanitized. The staff was professional and courteous. It's also near the uptown Whittier with few options of dining places. I will definitely come back on my next trip since it is so affordable, clean, and courteous staff.
