Thoughtfully, they arrange for you to change into comfortable slippers and offer a welcome drink; everything flows naturally and without pretense. I particularly remember a young female staff member with glasses who, with her fluent English and attentive, thorough explanations, made me feel incredibly comfortable and respected. Encountering such dedicated individuals during a trip is undoubtedly a rare stroke of luck. And the hotel's facilities are full of surprises! Outside the large public bath, complimentary drinks are available, along with table tennis and arcade games, adding a playful touch to your relaxation. The lobby features Japanese snacks and board games, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere; the relaxation area on the second floor is even more serene and comfortable – once you sit down, you won't want to leave. The dining experience here is simply sublime. Various alcoholic beverages are kept in ice buckets, freely awaiting wine enthusiasts! Dinner is exquisite and innovative; each dish is a stunning work of art, so delicious that it makes you want to return just for the food. Breakfast is delicate and abundant, awakening your taste buds and setting a wonderful tone for the day. The shiso soda thoughtfully provided in the in-room mini-fridge is incredibly refreshing after a hot spring soak, leaving a lasting, pleasant aftertaste. The toiletries have a delicate fragrance, leaving the skin soft and comfortable after use – even these small details are not overlooked. The overall service is friendly and sincere, without being overly familiar, yet maintaining just the right amount of professionalism. It truly feels like a 'just right' luxury experience! The hotel's surroundings are quiet and pristine, and transportation to and from the lakeside is convenient. Whether taking a taxi or using the hotel's shuttle service to JR Toya Station, it's effortless. It feels like Hotel Premium Lake Toya is not just a hotel, but a cherished memory of a journey. A very nice, new hotel with a resort feel. While skiing isn't ski-in and out, the shuttle bus is very convenient, and there's a ski locker. The hotel also has hot springs, massage parlors, and omakase (massage parlors), so you won't feel tired after skiing.

This stay was a mix of highlights and disappointments. The hotel’s location is undeniably prime, with excellent transportation and convenience all around. The dining options were equally impressive—both the buffet breakfast and dinner offered a fantastic selection of delicious, high-quality dishes, making the culinary experience the stand-out feature of our stay. However, the room facilities and housekeeping details fell far short of expectations. The room amenities felt quite basic and lacked proper pre-arrival checks. For a hotel with hot spring facilities, it was surprising that no basket was provided to carry items to the bath, and there was a clear shortage of towels in the room. Considering the high price tag, the overall experience did not feel proportional to what we paid. While the location and food were outstanding, the hotel needs to improve its room standard and service details to truly justify its rates.

This hotel is located on a hilltop, offering fantastic views of both the lake and the sea. We stayed in a lake-view room this time and even caught a fireworks display at night, though they were a bit small. The sunrise in the morning was absolutely beautiful, with a very tranquil lake. While the hotel is a bit older, the amenities and service are still top-notch. I really love this hotel.

Very spacious house. The three of us booked an apartment suite with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open kitchen, and a large living room. The house was very clean. The fridge had three complimentary drinks already in it, as informed by the front desk. The area is surrounded by hotels. We drove in the evening and parked in the underground garage, then didn't go out again. So, I'm not sure how convenient the surroundings are. It's about a 12-minute drive to Takahashi Farm, which felt quite convenient. It's a good hotel if you don't rely heavily on hotel services. It's great for self-sufficient travelers. The price is generally acceptable.

The hotel surroundings are lovely, perfect for simply relaxing. The front desk staff were very helpful, providing detailed explanations as the hotel is divided into the East, Main, and West wings. We booked the ”one night, two meals” plan and were satisfied with dinner. However, the breakfast didn't quite live up to the price point of over two thousand. Also, it was unexpected that bath towels weren't provided in the onsen area, even though they were in the room. I haven't encountered this at other onsen hotels in Japan.

A very affordable lodge to book if you intend to snowboard/ski for long! Although location is slightly far from hirafu and other mountains, they offer bus services there. Also there is free shuttle buses back from the mountains which stops opposite the lodge!

We had a great stay in Toya! The hotel is conveniently located near both the bus station and the train station, which made traveling very easy. The location is definitely one of its best features. The staff were very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. Just a heads up — there is no private bath in the room, so be prepared to use the public bath/onsen. But honestly, the onsen was very good and relaxing, so it was a great experience. Getting a taxi early in the morning (before 7 AM) can be quite difficult in Toya, so it’s better to arrange your taxi the night before. A taxi from the station to the hotel costs around 2,000–3,000 yen. Overall, a comfortable, relaxing, and convenient place to stay!

After seeing so many negative reviews, I was a bit hesitant about booking Lakeside Pavilion, but my actual experience was surprisingly good. First, the service was warm and proactive; I didn't encounter any of the alleged discrimination against Chinese guests. Second, the rooftop onsen was excellent, and the room had a great view. Even though there was a bed, we asked for three futons to be laid out, which was very comfortable. As for outdated facilities, you barely use the in-room bathing facilities at an onsen hotel anyway. While dinner and breakfast weren't exceptionally refined, there was a wide variety of options, so you're sure to find something delicious. I'm very satisfied with my choice this time.

We stayed at Niseko Towers and overall had a mixed experience. The location is great if you’re driving, as there is plenty of parking available. Without a car, however, it may feel less convenient. The building has an onsen on-site, which was a nice touch after a long day out. One of the biggest positives is the size of the apartment — it’s very spacious, with more than enough room for large luggage and ski gear. This makes it comfortable for longer stays. However, there were some downsides. The bed was quite hard, and we both woke up with back pain during our stay. Unfortunately, the breakfast was disappointing — very limited selection and lacking in quality. It didn’t feel like much care was put into the overall hospitality experience. In summary, the space and parking are strong points, but improvements in bedding comfort and breakfast quality would make a big difference.
