YYuetPinkThis hotel wasn't very crowded, and I'm so grateful to the owner for the free upgrade – it really enhanced our experience! The room was clean, the toiletries were high-quality, and there was a large screen TV. The butler service was very thoughtful, definitely a bonus! They even helped with our luggage! The common area on the first basement level was warmly decorated, and the back door on that level opens right onto the riverside, making for a great environment. If I ever go to Chenzhou or Zixing again, I'll definitely choose Zide!

DdavidFor our first night driving through Chenzhou, we chose this guesthouse inside the scenic area. You can drive right to the guesthouse entrance, and the staff will help you with your luggage upstairs. The view upon entering was stunning, overlooking the Xiaodong River; the emerald green water instantly soothed the fatigue of the long drive. The room was very clean and fully equipped, with disposable cups, toilet seat covers, and face towels – a definite plus. However, because it's inside the scenic area, there aren't many places to eat or shop. But you can order in advance and have the restaurant cook for you; the food is just as good as what you'd find elsewhere. The No. 4 viewing area is only a few hundred meters away, and a short walk down the path you can see fishermen casting their nets. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

Advantages 3: Good service, complaints were addressed promptly;
Advantages 4: Excellent location, very close to Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area, less than a ten-minute drive, and many restaurants nearby.
Disadvantages 1: I dare not use the upstairs laundry room, clothes left in the room won't dry.
Disadvantages 2: The toilet paper placement in the bathroom is *******; no matter how you turn it, you can't reach the paper unless you practice yoga.

SstevechanThis guesthouse is located by the Dongjiang River and has an underground parking garage, which is very convenient for those traveling by car. My room was on the second floor with a river view and a tatami setup. It had large floor-to-ceiling windows offering a beautiful river view, perfect for photos. However, the room was a bit small, and the lack of a desk made it inconvenient for business travelers. The steps at the entrance are poorly designed; it's easy to trip when going to the restroom at night, which is especially unfriendly for the elderly and children. The front desk lady was very helpful and shared local sightseeing tips, specifically recommending the sea of clouds at Huilong Mountain. I woke up early to see the sea of clouds and missed breakfast, so I can't comment on that. Overall, it's a great place for a relaxing vacation and photo ops.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, only 4-5 minutes' drive from Xiaodongjiang. We set out for Xiaodongjiang at 7am and were able to catch up with breakfast when we returned to the hotel after the tour. The room was very clean and tidy. The most admirable thing was the 180-degree terrace, which overlooked the beautiful river. In the evening, we could have a drink and a bite to eat on the terrace and chat. I loved it!

MM491223****Environment: The homestay is in the scenic area, surrounded by mountains and rivers and the air is very good; it is located between the observation deck No. 3 and 4, and it takes a few minutes to walk there. The location is excellent.
Facilities: Although simple but complete, disposable toiletries are available, air conditioning and heating are sufficient, hot water is abundant, and hair dryers are easy to use.
Service: The proprietress is very enthusiastic, and she is familiar with the surrounding attractions and can give good suggestions. She can also help plan the play route, remind the weather situation, and the service is intimate.
Hygienic: It is very clean and makes people feel at ease.

MmacauhykThe B&B is located near the Dongjiang Lake scenic spot. It only takes 5 minutes to walk to the scenic spot. It is very convenient. The hotel is newly renovated, the environment is relatively clean, very warm, and the bed is very comfortable. The inn has its own restaurant, which is very convenient for breakfast and dinner. The store can also help you book tickets, which is very convenient.

2205996****The location is excellent, opposite the Xiaodongjiang No. 2 observation deck, the boss and his wife are enthusiastic,  help lift the luggage upstairs. Dinner is provided, and a fish with a mouth is very fresh and tender. It is a bit damp. There is no door or curtain in the rain room. The water flows all over the place. Pay attention to non-slip; you can use  disposable bath towels to dry the water on the ground as much as possible to prevent slipping and falling.
