The hand-built bucket-style structure Tujia hanging foot building is a live display of non-legacy culture. The room is large and warm (forgot to take pictures) what makes my eyes shine most is that the room is equipped with drying equipment. This intimate design is undoubtedly the most touching humanized details. Food is the soul color here. Fresh ingredients do not need to be over-recorded, abandon the complicated seasoning, but the most authentic taste to the extreme, each mouth is solid and unforgettable, the aftertaste is long. The service is warm to the heart. The boss and the staff are very enthusiastic. The boss personally drove us to pick us up and drop us off, and introduced the historical origin of the cottage and the museum in detail. The employees not only patiently answer questions, but also take the initiative to talk to us. The décor is a beautiful, personal curation: art and personal book collection, vintage porcelain, silk cushions, and carefully chosen artworks. Nothing feels excessive or staged. Every object has intention behind it — a celadon vase here, a bronze figurine there — and yet the overall feeling is one of warmth and ease, not a museum. The rooms are serene, the linens impeccable, and the little touches — embroidered pillow slips, a hand-painted watercolour above the bed — speak of a host who genuinely cares. The lady boss is a gracious and soft spoken lady. She offers just the right amount of company and showed us the warmth of Gongtan residents through her actions and food. This is not just a place to sleep. It is a place that stays with you.

The best part is that they even include entrance tickets to the scenic area. The service was attentive and welcoming, the facilities were complete and relatively new, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. I had a very comfortable stay and would definitely come back in the spring to see the peach blossoms.
