Outstanding hotel. From start to finish. Staff were friendly and welcoming which after a long journey is the most important. The room was cleaned and well equipped to support your stay. They also supported us when our clothes were wet from the previous day. Food was a highlight here too. Everything was delicious. I’d recommend a visit here. It’s a must as it’s close to Penzance but quiet at the same time. You’ll need a car to drive here.

During our week in Cornwall we ate here twice. The food is amazing and the staff are really friendly and accommodating. As well as the menu they do have a specials board at weekends. It’s very comfort Environment to eat in and it was very busy both times we ate there, so I would recommend booking, which is by email.

Dodgy breakfast with broken coffee machine, no hash browns and over cooked bacon. While we were at breakfast they entered our room and paired up my socks (just strange) god only knows what else they were up to, also no sign in room to say they were going in or sign to hang on door to do not disturb. We spent over £200 in the restaurant on the first night had two rooms booked for two nights as we were down for a wedding and had to cancel one room due to family illness but still got charged full rate even though the room wasn’t used or needed cleaning and obviously they didn’t need a breakfast, shocking customer service as they were going to call me back but never did. Wouldn’t stay again.

This B&B was very disappointing. It is not up to my standards. Avoid this B&B until they fix the property. First, the good things: The staff was very good. The food was very good. The fireplace area was nice. We had two bedrooms. The bedrooms need a significant upgrade. The heat didn't work. Wonky space heaters were provided. The hot water in the basin of my bathroom did not work. The stopper in the basin did not work. The room walls were not clean. The carpeting up the stairs to the rooms and in the hallway was not clean. Windows were broken at the entry on on the building. Many seats in the dining area were not clean. The windows were not clean. There are patches in the ceiling in the dining room that show sewage/water has leaked through the floors above. This event did NOT look recent. This could be a great place with a significant investment. Avoid this property. Look elsewhere.

Autumn holiday in Cornwall Comfortable room, though not large, with en-suite and a really comfortable bed. We were welcomed on arrival and helped upstairs with our luggage. We had key to come and go as we pleased and visited different places each day. Only one wet day, otherwise warm and sunny - good for October. Mostly came back to eat dinner at the Inn - food was delicious. Excellent breakfasts too. Staff did everything possible to make it a good holiday for us. Many thanks!
