2-Star Hotels in Bratislava I

Don’t be deceived by the photos! The only positive thing we can say about this hostel is the bar downstairs with the evening activities. The main entertainment man was lovely and very welcoming, whilst the other staff looked at us as if we had 10 heads most of the time. We were inter-railing and this was the worst hostel we had been in. Despite there being free washing use, which was great, the dryers were horrendous and left our clothes wet for ages, and boiling hot (untouchable) leaving our room almost as a laundrette. The hostel was at the end of an alley way, so didn’t feel particularly safe, as well as the doors to the room not being great(with force, you could probably barge the door down with body weight). The bedsheets were stained and bobbled and so were the pillows. The showers were small and gross, with hair bunged up around the plug hole. The beds also creaked like mad and the fan was something from the 90s which puffed out less than a breath of air! I would only recommend this hostel if you were desperate and in need of a central hostel in Bratislava- but wouldn’t recommend if you were looking for a safe, clean room!

I stayed two nights in February, the hostel was clean, spacious, light and quite cozy. The hostel feels little bit like a huge flat with many rooms, it has nice and calm/chill atmosphere, I felt there like at home, which I really appreciated. In the big ”living room” there two big tables with chairs (perfect for playing board games), sofa with armchairs and bookshelf with armchair in the corner. In the living room there is always tea/coffee to make, that's very pleasant. There is also a small kitchen, suitable for cooking. Toilets and bathroom were clean and ok. I liked the bed, it was comfortable and didn't make any noise when moving. Rooms are very very spacious. I would like to thank once again to the host, Rado, who was so kind and sent me by a post (for free!) things I forgot in the hostel:)) Next time in Bratislava I'm definitely choosing this hostel again.

I was impressed from first exchange of e-malls by swiftness of response, good organisation, helpfulness, friendliness and courtesy all of which were confirmed in further exchanges and by our actual experience during our stay. The location, In a quiet area on the edge of Bratislava’s Old Town, Is ideal for sight-seeing In and around the city with access to local and international bus services within a few minutes' walking distance The accommodation Is In a modern, well-equipped building offering convenience and simple stylishness in a pleasant garden surrounded and screened from the street by more historic buildings, The spotless cleanliness is immediately impressive. The choice of delicious hot and cold food and beverages from the breakfast buffet Is extensive and varied. All of these aspects are highly recommendable for both quality and value The Centrum Salvator provides a refreshingly peaceful oasis from which to explore an attractive city with a fascinating history.

This is a serviced apartment very close to the city centre in Bratislava, and it was very reasonably priced. Please note it is not close to the train station (it's about half an hour walk if you want to try) but it's only a short hop away by tram. As it is quite close to the city centre, you can either go there for food or there are lots of restaurants nearby and some of them are quite good as well. The room was big, clean and bright. It has one big window, (mine was away from the street so it looks out to the back but the next building is still quite far away so there is still plenty of sunlight coming through). There is a kitchen and utensils (including a kettle if you want to make coffee or tea). The building has laundry machines that guests can use (I didn't need to use it but I think you do need to pay). The staff speaks very good English and friendly so they can be quite helpful if you have any questions. I didn't need to ask any as my stay here was faultless really. It would definitely be on my one of the choices of place to stay when I'm next in Bratislava. There are some things to note though. You probably won't be able to check in until after 2pm. I arrive early and had to wait for my room to be ready. They do have a luggage storage service free of charge though. I can't remember whether they have daily cleaning but I think they don't have daily cleaning from memory which is fine. I'm not a messy person by nature and I'm not that obsessed with hygiene so it wasn't an issue for me.

The hotel was good, but it feels a bit overpriced as I booked even better one for the same price in Vienna, which is a contrast city in terms of the price. Gentleman at the reception was friendly. Bear in mind that the hotel will charge additional city tax when you move in. The hotel itself was more less clean, but the room was not spotlessly cleaned to be honest. I had some hair on the soap dispenser and some threads in the bath. The bed was a bit small and short, furniture was slightly damaged. The door had old post soviet style of faux leather Ron top and I was wondering why… I woke up at the middle of the night from the screams of the children that were so loud in the corridor for some reason. The sound insulation is not good at all there sadly and the fabric door did not really help. The hotel has nice authentic lobby which reminds a Soviet porch with Persian carpets. I booked 1 month in advance for 26th of December and paid $68, which I think is overpriced, considered the quality and space of the room. If it was cheaper, I’d have given more starts for this review. It is ok for one night if you just come and fall asleep. Hotel needs renovation.

The hotel is friendly and welcoming and well priced. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the whole hotel is spotlessly clean. We came for a long weekend in Bratislava and staff were helpful in choosing places to visit and advising on routes to get to destinations. The bar and restaurant are very good and the wine selection is excellent. It is a 20 minute walk to the old town but the hotel is near the bus station. There is a little road noise as the hotel is on a major route but it’s not intrusive and overall it’s a quiet place to stay. Very good.

The bottom floor of the room is not facing the lake. If the price is cheap, the room for Ctrip will always be the worst. There is no deck, so this hotel on board is equal to the general room, there are many small flying insects in the wet, no air conditioners and fans, the electric fan may not be used for a long time, I am all ash blowing everywhere.

Our stay in this hotel bol veký podlamam. Izba, ktorú sme doli (number 202), mala nemytú vanu a veké škvrny na gauči. Fotografie nebyla odpověděla reality. Moreover, izba bola plin neobyčejný insect, ktorý jsme objavali za posteou, za gaučom a na poste. Moja priateka mala po celom tele viditené šapance. dalším nepříjemným prepůvod boli technické problémy. Kúč v kúpeni sa nedal pretočiť a nebolo možné zamykať dvere, rovnako ako prepnúť sprchu vo vani. Najviac však nás slama komunikacia s managementom. Na naše následné e-maily jsme nedostali odpověděd. Bohužia, on the basis of our súsnosti this “hotel” neodporúčame nikomu, kto očekáva alespoň základnú úroveň čistoty a službách. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. There is pro et contra to this apartment. Let me start with pros. The location is top notch. 5 min. from the central bus station and 10 min. from the old town. The communication with Ambiente is really good. And then the apartment is absolutely spacious. The bathroom is good, plenty of hot water and there is a washing machine and washing powder put out. The walk in wardrobe is spacious and nicely equipped with closet space. And so cons. Without having the slightest objection to Ikea, it is incomprehensible that one chooses the cheapest items and that nothing has been done for the decor of the apartment. In the living room, the coffee table had scratches, and a lone bulb without a screen hung over. TV did not work due to weak signal while Wi-Fi was good. In addition, there is only ceiling lighting and thus no light over the dining table. Light over the kitchen table did not work. The open kitchen worked fine and there was fully adequate kitchenware; only a coffee machine was missing. In the bedroom the double bed is very low by the floor but otherwise perfectly ok including linen. Since there is plenty of space here, a work table is missing. The review is that the price is quite reasonable for a large apartment and that it is good for a shorter stay. At the same time, however, we would recommend Ambiente to review the interior and to have the defects and damages repaired.
