Mama's Design & Boutique Hotel

The hotel was quite nice, the location was good and it is close to the shopping mall and other amenities. The breakfast buffet is very small, and there are not a lot of options available. The room we stayed in was a bit dirty and the floors were quite dusty. F

Hotel was spotless clean. Beds really comfy. Advertised as in the city centre, and priced as though it is, but it's about 25/30 minute walk from tourist centre. There are hotels actually in the centre that will be better value for money. The staff are lovely abd there is a gym, small pool and sauna. In the photos these are shown with a lovely outdoor terrace, but the terrace is overgrown and nit appealing like the photos. The pool area is spotless clean with a spa like feel with relaxing music playing. But the water was too cold for me. Could only stay in the water 5 minutes. Breakfast was good with something for everyone and a manu for fresh cooked food as well as the buffet. The shower I the room was good and bathroom spotless with fresh towels daily. Biggest problem we had was first night when power turned off every 30 minutes through the night as it has a movement sensor. This meant my CPAP machine for sleep apnea kept turning off (which woke us both because there's an alarm when it loses power) so we both had a terrible night sleep. The hotel were able to over ride this when I was eventually able to get them to understand that I needed a continuous power supply.. won't be an issue if this is flagged in advance. Overall,the hotel was good but overpriced for the location. Oddly, the elevator only stops between floors, meaning there is always a short flight of stairs to and from elevator. So it's not an accessible hotel if you can't use stairs .

A brilliant hotel with great facilities and excellent staff. The room was modern and clean and the spa was an added bonus. The breakfast offering was brilliant and the hotel also smelt amazing - we asked them what diffuser they were using!
