Hadden een kamer geboekt in het bijgebouw. Geen woorden voor hoe ranzig deze kamer was. Vervallen, bladderende verf, gaten in het dak (zie foto’s). Verder bloedheet, geen ventilatie en geen airco (was weliswaar vooraf bekend). Kamer zat vol met meerdere muggen, spinnen, duizendpoot. Insectenspray had men niet bij de receptie. Van der Valk onwaardig, zeker voor 160 euro! Na klachten en wat aandringen bij de receptie kregen we een “gratis” update naar het hoofdgebouw: die kamers zijn 100% perfect. Beste van der Valk: sloop dat vieze bijgebouw, kan echt niet!

Very clean, spacious and nice room. Air conditioning, great bathroom, tv, fridge with soft drinks and extremely nice and helpful staff. I travelled with three kids. Highly recommend.

Een uitstekend hotel voor kort verblijf. Ontbijtbuffet is zeer verzorgd. Nette en ruime slaapkamer. Vriendelijk personeel die tijd maakt voor de nodige informatie.

Top hotel voor uitvalsbasis naar grote steden, omgeving met veel opties. Veel gelegenheid om ergens wat te gaan eten en te drinken. Erg behulpzaam personeel!

Mooi en verzorgt hotel. Proper ook. Ontbijt was heel uitgebreid en lekker. Bijhouden van reservatie kan pakken beter. Bij aankomst was onze reservatie niet meer terug te vinden. Zonder de mails als bewijs zouden we de volle pot moeten betaald hebben voor een kamer. Kregen korting omdat het een trouwfeest was. We waren niet de enige van ons gezelschap die deze problemen hadden. Dit kan eigenlijk niet omdat je al zo vroeg op voorhand boekt (2 jaar op voorhand) en we vragen ons af wat als alles volgeboekt had geweest? Nee dit kan beter.

Dit hotel ligt langs de weg richting Brasschaat en is een stuk intiemer dan de meeste van der Valk hotels maar heeft zeker dezelfde kwaliteit qua eten, drinken en slaapcomfort. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en zorgt ervoor dat je, je als klant heel erg welkom voelt.
