We found bed bugs the second night we were there. The managers insisted that they weren’t bed bugs, but the exterminator we contacted and showed the pictures to said that they were. We were given 25% off. I have several bites and we are very upset about our experience.

We were met by a rude staff that placed us the the wrong room and they were unwilling to give us the right room. They also charged $60 more than they told us on the phone. We could also hear them talking about us behind our back. Needless to say we won’t be visiting them again but the Best Western across the street saved the day!

The manager has horrible customer service skills. They go out of their way to make sure you understand their rules. Which basically says “no fun at all”. Of three elevators, only one works….slowly. When we arrived at 3:00PM we learned that our rooms were not ready, we waited for an additional hour and that was relayed as rudely and condescending as possible….by the manager. Construction and upgrades is happening all around the hotel. But the upgrades basically consists of putting lipstick on a pig. Improvements are made on the big things but the details are not addressed at all. Our Kurig coffee pot in the room didn’t work. The business center offers no privacy. Because I needed privacy from my family for my work, I was put into a meeting space where it was obvious that the construction workers spent a lot of time drinking. HOWEVER, don’t you dare drink at the pool or inside the building. When we left, we needed to delay our departure by thirty minutes. When I reminded them about our check in experience, I was just told “absolutely not”. I don’t recommend and I wouldn’t return.

First I would like to say this hotel has some good things. The breakfast staff was good at trying to keep the food coming out. The cleaning staff seemed very friendly. The checkin went well. To be fair the hotel was sold out. But, some of the rules were not followed. There was drinking going on in the lobby. Children were allowed to wander the hotel without parents. The pool was never real clear while we were there. When confronting the staff with rules being broken, it did not go well. After calling La Quinta to get some results, then the rules were displayed in the Lobby. The lobby got better the next night. Two different trips the pool has had to be shut down while we were there. There were a lot of children using the pool with rules being broken. The beds on the other hand were comfortable. I hope they get the elevator that goes down to the lower level fixed soon. No reparations were offered except she would have us leave the hotel. I sincerely hope things get better. Because, this hotel is pretty good otherwise. Thanks

Clean, comfortable hotel close to Silver Dollar City. Great value for the price! Friendly and helpful staff. One elevator is down, but staff directed us to park by the exterior door near the other elevator so we had a shorter walk to our room.

Every La Quinta we have stayed at has been of excellent quality, but I must say, this one was substandard. We booked an extra day while there in Branson. The management didn’t want the room to be checked as we originally were a checkout. I had to go to the front desk to ask for towels, toiletries, and garbage bags. The breakfast was ok though. Probably wouldn’t book here again.

Enjoyed the hotel experience of the La Quinta. It was off the main drag, which made it convenient and quieter . The breakfast that was provided was better than any that I had seen in quite some time. While traveling. I also like the convenience of having coffee or hot cocoa available at anytime.There was also fresh ice water.
