A perfect 5 nights Stay Thanks to a Fantastic Team

Checked in close to midnight, the reception was fast and seamless. One staff went at length (forgot to write down his name as we were too tired), to offer help to set up internet and get room service as we missed our dinner due to flight delays. We are impressed with the helpful concierge, smiley cleaners, and the attentive breakfast team—everyone was friendly, professional, and made our stay wonderful. A truly well-run establishment!
Though the hotel is not at CBU but taxis are easily available, and KK Mall next door provides the convenience. The view from the room is fantastic

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional service provided during my recent stay at your hotel. Specifically, I would like to commend Oscar from the front desk for his outstanding professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine commitment to ensuring a memorable guest experience.

Upon check-in, Oscar greeted me with warmth and efficiency, setting a positive tone for my stay. During check-out, he took the time to kindly ask about my experience and listened attentively to my feedback. When I mentioned a minor issue, he promptly addressed it with great care and resolution. Additionally, his thoughtful gesture of presenting a teddy bear as a gift truly touched me and significantly enhanced my overall impression of the hotel.

While my stay was mostly pleasant, there were two minor incidents that could have impacted my experience. First, there was a misunderstanding with the concierge team regarding courier delivery services. Fortunately, the butler quickly stepped in, understood my needs, and made an exception to assist me. She also patiently explained the reasons behind the policy, doing so in such a polite and comforting manner that I truly appreciated.

Secondly, there were no universal sockets compatible with UK plugs, my laptop ran out of battery but I had to reply an email via that laptop. I contacted the butler for a converter, after over 10 minutes, one was provided but no way to plug to the wall socket. I called the butler again, then it took nearly an hour for the housekeeping team to find a suitable power strip. I acknowledge that, as a guest, I should have been better prepared, and I understand that such situations can sometimes be beyond the hotel’s immediate control. Or maybe my expectation to the butler team is far over.

Despite these small setbacks, Oscar’s efforts during check-out completely eased my frustrations and left a lasting positive impression. His dedication to guest satisfaction is truly commendable, and I believe he is a valuable asset to your team.

I hope this feedback reaches the appropriate channels and that Oscar receives the recognition he deserves. Thank you once again for a wonderful stay, and I look forward to returning to the St. Regis in the future.

My family had US visa interviews scheduled at Meilong Town Plaza, so we chose to stay at The St. Regis Shanghai Jing'an for its proximity. It's only about a 300-meter walk, which was incredibly convenient. Moreover, the hotel's location is excellent, right in the bustling Nanjing West Road commercial area.

The hotel's interior design is grand and elegant, with impeccable attention to detail. Our room, which maintained the same luxurious and elegant style, felt very high-quality. We were assigned a room facing Pudong, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline.

The service was truly exceptional. The staff members were professional and exceptionally courteous. In addition to breakfast, our stay included a complimentary semi-buffet lunch for two. Furthermore, parking during our stay was complimentary; we simply had to contact the concierge desk before check-out to have the fees waived.

It's hard to summarize my experience here; it was a stark contrast to the perfect stay I had at St. Regis Qingdao. The river view was the main draw, and the night view was just okay.

While I acknowledge I arrived early, as I'd planned to have lunch at the Western restaurant, after my meal I inquired twice about my room. However, I wasn't notified when it was finally ready and had to go ask myself. I was told it was a very busy day.

The bed rail I requested in my booking notes was simply left on the floor, so I decided not to bother the staff with installing it.

However, I do want to thank the concierge for assisting with my luggage. And a big thank you to all the service staff.

Amazing service. Butler and concierge service was personalised, quick and attentive. We can even communicate by WhatsApp which really helps when we are out of our room. We lost one of the delivery package and Zaw of concierge service, stayed past his work hour to help us locate the package. 

There was a wide selection for breakfast and the presentation of the bread and pastries table look so nice.

Our first family visit to Dubai 

The best hotel my family and I have stayed in.

The room is very spacious and clean, overseeing the Burj Khalifa.

The hotel staff is ever-polite and very accommodative.

Breakfast was excellent with many food choices.

1) The duty manager will never fail to give a courtesy call to find out if everything is fine during our stay

2) Shoutout to Mr. Jeff for helping us to safekeep our Dubai loots (Fix Chocs and cakes) before returning back to our homeland.

3) Shoutout to Ms. Aleksandra (I hope I get the name correct) for showing us to our room during the check in.

4) Shoutout to the lady staff who always greeted us at the lift lobby from 8am to 8pm.

Overall, it was indeed a memorable stay in The St. Regis Downtown for our first trip to Dubai.
