While a great locations and the unit is certainly spacious & comfortable. Bedding, linen all as you would expect, but… The details disappointed. Constantly dripping tap in ensuite, Dirty curtains, broken light switch, wonky fan, cobwebs in windows, tv didn’t work (investigated and found aerial etc had been disconnected). Missing towel rail in ensuite, bracket still on the wall. Tv remote taped together. Washing instructions for a different machine. In yard cover for hot water unit not attached (left on a shelf), untidy yard. The unit needs a refresh & a good clean. Price was reasonable, if the the above didn’t need doing. I received welcoming SMS from CityStyle and a Thanks for staying with us Sms. I emailed them my feedback last week and am yet to receive and acknowledge of my email. That’s really disappointing, not to mention poor customer service.

Very spacious with 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms + equipped kitchen and living room. Washing machine + dryer + vacuum cleaner. Secure parking is underground with elevator. Nothing to say, it's very good. Note: the address given is not necessarily that of the apartment you will occupy. CityStyle has apartments in different buildings around the city. So, you have to check your D-1 emails carefully to have the exact address and mailbox code. This allows you to collect the keys + the parking badge. So it is preferable to have a smartphone with an internet connection in Australia (Optus prepaid card at 30AUD for 28 days with 40 gigabytes of 5G data) You have to be careful when putting the keys in the same mailbox at "check out" because there is no reception. I went to the wrong mailbox and fortunately after contacting CityStyle by telephone, a technician intervened to collect the keys (thank you very much to this person). The photos are of the apartment located on the corner of Gould St & Moore St.

Getting into the room can be a bit of an issue but staff are very helpful in gaining key access after hours. Overall the apartment was a good size with full size fridge and cooking facilities. Lounge / dining is large and decor is ok. TV was crap. Half channels did not work as TV too old to get HD reception. Excellent location walking distance to Civic and Braddon shops and restaurants.On site parking a bonus. Not a big fan of having a separate bathroom at the other end of the apartment and not an ensuite to the bedroom. Complimentary coffee was drinkable.

I stayed in Phoenix apartments for a week and found it to be all I needed. Laundry was helpful (washing machine and iron both were used), and the kitchen made self-catering practical choice. Heating was good in lounge and bedroom, with plenty of winter sunlight through north-facing windows.

Overall a good place to stay Location is excellent, quiet area and close to all, the apartment is large and well appointed. bed was too soft for my liking had very thick topper mattress may need replacing need to revisit instructions signage in unit as it still talks of weekly internet charge which is not true as it is free wifi One aspect out of the control of the accommodation provider was the bin room which was disgusting

what was advertised was a lovely place at 86 northbourne Avenue Braddon. photos looked lovely. what we got was a rundown apartment at a different location in desperate need of maintenance and a thorough clean. BE VERY AWARE THAT IF YOU SCROLL DOWN TO THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE LISTING, YOU WILL BE TOLD THAT THEY CAN PRETTY MUCH PUT YOU UP IN ANY PLACE IN CANBERRA, AND NOT WHERE YOU THINK YOU ARE BOOKING. I believe the listing is deceitful and dishonest. have submitted a complaint with fair trading. *********** couldn't care less and I bet I don't get a response from the apartment owners. why would they, they have our money. and 10am checkout?? until the cleaner comes at 9.25 and stands outside your door!! never again. Canberra is lovely. just don't bother with this place

We booked a one room apartment in CityStyle for a 3 night mid-week stay. The room was spacious with a separate bedroom. The kitchen had all the utensils and equipment needed for self catering. Free parking is a big plus in Canberra and the information provided on book in explained well how to access the parking space. The units are within easy walking distance of the restaurants and shops in the CBD. Only 2 small issues - the room smelt very strongly of cleaning products when we checked in and it took some time to dissipate. Also the shower curtain was very mouldy. Overall, however we had a very pleasant stay and will happily stay again.

Location was perfect. Good restaurants and bars nearby, and easy to get to all local attractions. Staff were helpful on check-in and available at very short notice for any questions or problems (not that we had any). Our apartment was clean, quiet, and had plenty of space, plus everything we needed to make our stay a great one. Good value for money, and we would definitely stay here again.
