It‘s ok for Business Trips, wouldn’t recommend it for vacation

Visited the area to take the family to Lego land and visit the local area. The hotel was good and very easy to get to everywhere we needed to. Fast. Check in was quick and they allowed us to check in a couple of hours earlier as we arrived sooner than expected.

Stayed at this hotel for work. Friendly staff great food and really close to the business park. I ate in the restaurant each night and food was great, the staff always had a smile and a laugh and the atmosphere was nice for a solo traveller. I will book again.

We stayed here for the second year in a row ahead of a visit to Lapland UK. 2023 was just about ok - a basic Premiere Inn at best. This year, was terrible. We arrived at approx 3.30 and the entire car park was deserted, there was signage missing and an extremely large pothole as you enter the carpark. We genuinely thought the hotel had been shut down and checked our booking before we got out. We found it was indeed still open, and ironically had the exact same room as the year before. The room was basic, but sufficient for a nights sleep. It looked like it hadn't had any kind of deep clean in the 12 months that had passed through. My biggest complaint - lack of breakfast the following morning. We went around to the adjoining restaurant (which currently has no signage - I believe Beefeater have pulled out and they are in a state of flux?) to be told that there was no hot breakfast options and we would need to travel to a different hotel if we wanted them! Not the best start to what was meant to be a magical day for our daughter - and resulted in us trying to find something on the way so we still met our entry time for Lapland. I stay in Premier Inn's quite a lot for work, and they vary up and down the country that's for sure. But I have to say that currently, this one is firmly at the very bottom of the list and not somewhere I would willingly choose to stay again.

I was staying day before my Mum’s funeral. I’d phoned ahead of my stay & spoke to Mel. My experience from start to finish was wonderful thanks to your amazing staff Samir, Mel, Sheila & young Leah who turned such an emotional time for me into a welcoming & friendly atmosphere. Room was perfect & Sheila cooks a great breakfast xx

Hotel was old, our room smelt musky and the bathroom was dirty. Booked a family room for 4 but it was very cramped, not like any other premier inns we’ve been to. The double bed was very uncomfortable and the noise from the road made it difficult to sleep

We stayed in the Premier Inn this weekend as we were going to Lapland UK very early the following day. I had booked it in March and found the price for a family room very reasonable. My children (6 and 5) had never stayed in a hotel so it was our first time in a family room. We were happy with everything in our room. As always the double bed was amazing and so comfortable. I would say that the extra bed was very uncomfortable and felt rock hard. I understand it was an extra bed but a bit disappointing when you’re used to the usual Premier Inn standard of bed. Only other thing I would mention is the shower was very temperamental. But we loved our stay and my partner and children had a great nights sleep. The one thing I’d like to mention is the amazing lady who checked us in at reception - so sorry I didn’t get your name. My children are both autistic and sometimes struggle with new people but she was so good with them and asking them all about their trip to Lapland. This personal touch really added to the stay for my children and I am very grateful. She even brought some colouring and letters to Santa down to the room a few minutes after we’d checked in. I’ve never had bad customer service from a Premier Inn but have never had such good personal service either. Thank you so much

Good premier inn, room had everything we needed. Friendly staff. Ate at the attached restaurant and all staff were super friendly and helpful, I only got Kayleigh’s name but the gentleman serving was just as friendly and the chef made sure my little girl had just what she asked for at breakfast. Good breakfast which came out speedily, excellent choice! I would stay here again.
