The best local brand hotel, affiliated with IHG Group, located in the city center, close to MIAN STREET. It is a design hotel with large rooms and good sound insulation. There is a rooftop swimming pool, a bar, and a live show in the evening. It is worth recommending.

Decent stay overall, but not without hiccups. Room could’ve used a deeper clean, and we were bummed the rooftop bar was randomly closed one night—our main reason for booking! Dinner in the restaurant hotel, Fieldings, was beyond sub par. Staff was friendly, but the details matter. 3 stars. There were other hotels of lower ranking that seemed much more put together than this Kimpton.

We were so excited to stay here! Got to the hotel. Hard to find parking. Valet was busy. The gal at the front desk said our only option was valet due to the downtown location. Meanwhile after checking in, we walked by a parking garage one block east with plenty of room to park. Elevators were dirty. Our hotel room bathroom fan was clogged with dirt. Shower pan was grimey and tile stained with mildew. Went to the rooftop pool and all gray sofas were stained with food and dirty. The glass surrounding the pool was so water stained you couldn’t even look out at the gorgeous views. For the price, it’s so not worth it. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. At most, a 3 star with 5 star pricing. Very bummed.

If you want people to join your rewards program and feel appreciated at your hotel --It would be nice to be recognized by my actual name since I was staying for 5 nights. Welcome Catherine! was on my TV for 5 days - My name is Joan. I told the front desk but the ladies were really clueless. Nothing changed. A/C did not work until we complained day 4. The restaurant is really good.

When we arrived at the Armory we found it really difficult to park out front as the hotel was super busy, due to the July 4th weekend. Once inside feeling slightly stressed due to the situation outside and with two dogs and luggage, I was met by Taylor who was the most friendly upbeat person I’ve ever been greeted by at a hotel, she checked us in, explained all the amenities and totally made me feel better about our stay. We were allocated a one king studio, which was really nicely decorated, the bathroom was immediately on the left as you entered, it was nice but nothing special, it had a large cubicle shower and really nice toiletries. The shower could have used some mildew and mould remover around the seal of the shower at the bottom. A small closet was to the left of the bathroom, which had a safe, lovely bathrobes and slippers. The main part of the room featured a really comfy king size bed, two side cabinets, a large tv and a cabinet featuring drawers and a mini bar. Behind a dividing wall, was another tv and a sofa, which really needed cushions as the arms were hard as hell. There was also a writing desk and chair. Overall the room was really nice, and with a great amount of space, especially as we had two dogs. Incidentally Kimpton are one of the few hotel brands who still don’t charge for pets, they did however have a $35 per night resort fee for the amenities which we never used, and $45 valet charge. The valet guys were really good and very friendly. All in all we enjoyed our stay at the Kimpton, the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the pinky mildew and mould on the shower, which for this calibre of hotel should be noticed and dealt with.

Is this a very nice hotel in Bozeman. It's very clean. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The room is spacious and the beds are very accommodating. But Bozeman is one sleepy nothing to do kind of place other than a place to visit yellowstone.

After a 7+ hour drive from Spokane and though the vast and amazing State of Montana, we arrived in Bozeman and to the hotel quite travel weary and somewhat underwhelmed with what we approached. You are all but compelled to use the valet service at $40/night because the main entrance was the curbside drop-off with several stairs needed to climb with bags (no walk ramp), to get to the reception desk. We were also charged an additional amenity fee at checkout for services we did not use. The hotel is modern, very clean, but sterile in appearance lacking personality. Our room was comfortable with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. There was a rooftop bar that was cool to chill out at but there was nothing else at the hotel that was compelling. The Hotel advertises itself in the historic downtown Bozeman but the area was lifeless, sleepy and more residential than something vibrant. Our view from our room window was towards the Gallatin Mountain Range that was breathtaking to take in. My wife and I were uncertain if it's proximity to Yellowstone National Park was a reason all Bozeman hotels had low vacancies and the room rates were expensive. We were not disappointed in choosing this hotel to stay at, we were underwhelmed and disappointed this hotel was less than 5-star quality.

We stayed for two nights, arriving on Sunday and leaving on Tuesday. Perhaps the experience is different Wednesday through Saturday, but only the rooftop bar was open for dining on the nights we were there. It is a nice bar with great views, but limited food offerings. The basement bar and main dining restaurant were both closed. You really can't be a 5-star hotel and not offer dinner service. We ultimately had dinner at the Carlisle, which is located in a hotel down the street, and had an excellent meal there. There is no practical alternative to Valet parking, which is $40/day plus tips. To make matters worse, the messaging system to initiate the return of your car doesn't work, so you have to go through the operator to reach the valet service. The bottom line is that the valet service is expensive and inconvenient. There is a $35/night amenity fee, which pays for the limited amenities they provide. The only real amenity we found was a guest reception from 5:00 to 6:00, during which they provide wine and premade Old Fashions. However, the night we were able to visit the reception, the service didn't start until almost 5:30, but it still ended at 6:00. The room itself is small but has nice furnishings. Unfortunately, the limited space available is filled with a tray full of wine and alcohol they want you to purchase at inflated prices, a drawer full of snacks, and a refrigerator with beverages for sale. I usually don't mind having a mini bar in the room that I can choose to pay for, but when the space is so limited, maybe they could leave them out. Overall, the hotel is overpriced for what you get. Although Bozeman generally has very high hotel prices, the Amory is at the high end of the area and doesn't provide an experience that justifies the rate.
