Avani Melbourne Box Hill Residences

I had a very bad experience at this hotel. The staff had a bad attitude, the service was unprofessional, the room was not clean, the hygiene was disappointing. What's more, I was charged a cleaning fee of AUD 203 after check out! This is totally unacceptable and I definitely do not recommend this hotel!

Boxhill is a relatively new hotel, but the hygiene of this Avani is really worrying. At night, I found stains on the mattress under the sheets. It goes without saying what it is. I went downstairs to find the front desk, but they had already left work at 11 o'clock. I called the emergency number and was told that they would have to wait until 7:00 tomorrow morning to deal with it. Later, after we did a simple treatment ourselves, I slept in a daze for a night. The mattress was replaced at 9:30 the next morning. The second thing that was unacceptable was that the hotel front desk asked us to throw the dirty towels in the corner of the garbage room. When we went to put the towels, we found that they were thrown directly on the concrete floor. Because there was no storage basket or something like that, we went downstairs again to ask the front desk. After getting a definite answer, I felt a little bit irritated. Throwing towels on the concrete floor in the corner of the garbage room, is it disposable? It's definitely impossible. The third thing is that the coffee cups were not cleaned and there was dirt. It's best for everyone to wash them before use.
