Storrs Gate House

This is a lovely cottage! The dining room is well decorated and the room is comfy and clean. The host Glen and Susan are very nice and suggested us lots of good spots to go. Highly recommend. :)

Fabulous stay from start to finish Absolutely fabulous stay from start to finish. Room and whole ambience were great. The owners both so hospitable and lovely. Met on arrival with a glass of port and a mince pie which was a lovely touch. The rooms were also lovely with extra touches which went above and beyond the usual. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom. And what can I say about the breakfast. Probably the best one we have ever had in a hotel before. Location is handy too, being perhaps a 10 to 15 minute walk from the centre of Bowness, the only thing to bear in mind was the last few hundred yards to the hotel there was no street lights and so was incredibly dark. But with a torch is no problem and shouldn't put you off booking this stunning little hotel. We would not hesitate to rebook if we were in the area in the future .

We had an absolutely lovely stay with Susanne and Glen who are very welcoming and friendly. The guest house is gorgeous and very cosy, and our room was huge and well kept. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

Fabulous stay in a gorgeous guest house. Hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, the breakfasts were amazing and all freshly prepared with lots of choice. The room was excellent and extremely comfortable. We will definitely return.

The Storrs Gate House is a stunning b&b, the rooms are stunning and every little detail has been thought of. There is White Co product in the bathroom and china teasets for your tea & coffee in the rooms. Breakfast is amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Susann & Glenn are perfect hosts and the ladies serving breakfast are so lovely we will be definitely staying again and will recommend to all our friends x
