This is a lovely cottage! The dining room is well decorated and the room is comfy and clean. The host Glen and Susan are very nice and suggested us lots of good spots to go. Highly recommend. :)

We stayed for two nights in the Tudor room. The room was very spacious, nicely furnished and well equipped with a small fridge, kettle and tea tray. The breakfast was excellent, 10 out of 10. The hosts were lovely people, genuine and obviously take great pride and care in their business. It was an easy 15 minute walk via the main road into Bowness, a bit longer of you walk along the lake. £6 back in a taxi. We were more than happy with all aspects of our stay and will definitely return to this B&B.

Wow, what an amazing find this was!! Exceptional hosts nothing was too much trouble and their local knowledge was so helpful . Breakfast was amazing and the accommodation was beautiful. Our room was really comfortable with a fridge and coffee a tea making facilities. We loved it and will defiantly return

My partner, Corrinne, and I stayed with Glen and Susann at their guest house and what a delightful experience. They are a lovely couple and we could not have asked for more. We stayed in the Victorian room, and it was excellent, with a very spacious bedroom, a beautiful dressing room, and a large en-suite shower room. We cannot recommend Storrs Gate House highly enough, it is superb.

Excellent hosts and excellent service. Susann and Glen could not do anymore to make you feel more welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was amazing a all cooked fresh to order. The room was very clean ans warm and the bed was very comfortable. Definitely be going back.

The house is beautiful and the furnishings are top quality. We stayed in the Annex which was superb and the bath was amazing. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever tasted and the hosts Susanne and Glenn can't do enough for you. We will definitely be back
