This is a lovely cottage! The dining room is well decorated and the room is comfy and clean. The host Glen and Susan are very nice and suggested us lots of good spots to go. Highly recommend. :)

We enjoyed our stay at the Storrs gate guest house very much. The experience was really nice. A lovely warm welcome from both Glen and Susanne and they were very attentive throughout our stay. The room was really lovely, beds were very comfy and everything was kept very clean and tidy. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. The short walk, about 15 mins, to lake Windermere was really enjoyable. All in all it's a really lovely little bed and breakfast, very pretty and really beautifully decorated. We received a warm welcome from Glenn as we pulled through the gates as we parked the car. Our bedroom we had seen on the website was larger than expected and the Dressing room was bonus with the seperate bathroom off it. The brekfast room feeling got the day off to a fine start. Storrs Gate House is a good centraql locatation for the Lake District. Oh! and it spotlessly clean.

Run by a lovely friendly couple. Great location near marina and only 10 or 15 mins to town. Fabulous room (suite) and the breakfast was amazing. Thanks for making our stay so nice.
