Aphrodites Group

Myself and my partner travel to the Lake District often and have previously stayed at Aphrodities. Unfortunately room 2 didn't quite live up to previous experience. We chose the room for the hot tub and spa bath, wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of life for some much needed relaxation... When in the hottub, the room above us were often on their balcony above us. Although there is a cover, they can still see down and also hear conversations. It didnt feel very private, due to this we decided to move indoors to the spa bath... The tap on the bath didn't get hot, I understand the temperature is capped to 42° but it didn't even get that and therefore couldn't be enjoyed for long as it was too cold. The bath is clearly well used and the tiles are looking worn, the little silver covers kept popping off the jets too when in use. The taps in one of the sinks also doesn't get hot. The room above was very noisy and we could hear them banging and walking around until late. We spent time before settling for the night pulling the cobwebs off the headboard. During this i spotted what I can only describe as the remains of a previous couples night (photos attached). This will still be in the room as I refused to pull the bed out to investigate. However, as you can see in the pictures, it could do with a good hoover... I did notify reception of my findings. Breakfast, although on time was very cold, and the overnight oats were missing and had to be chased up via a phone call. Don't get me wrong, the room is beautiful, and I totally understand that there are going to be hiccups however, when you pay over £400 for a night away, I didn't expect to be so disappointed. Awaiting a reply from Aphrodities...

The whole experience at the Aphrodites Suites was amazing. Great Location being a short 5 minute drive from Bowness on Windermere. Met at the check in time by friendly helpful staff! The Bowness Spa Suite was beautiful throughout. The room was stunning along with the additional bonuses of the Hot Tub and Sauna. Breakfast in the morning was so good! I recommend the Aphrodites group to anyone. Great value and will definitely be returning!

Brilliant 5⭐️ Our stay at Aphrodite’s Suite was absolutely brilliant! The room was luxurious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed. The hot tub was a highlight, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Perfect getaway! Would totally recommend

Amazing hotel… in a great location and get away… my room we booked was really clean which is important to me… hygiene 10/10 and fresh… cater to your best needs… will keep you updated throughout the stay making sure we are ok and happy the staff were absolute great.. will be going again.. can’t wait xx

It was amazing. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We stayed in the Edelweiss suit and it was gorgeous! We had Breakfast delivered to the door every morning which was so good too. Everything about the stay was amazing I would 100% recommend. It is also super close to where you need to be it only took us about 15mins to walk to the nearest bars / restaurants.

Everything was perfect to the bed, hot tub , shower I don’t have one complaint perfect for couples having a nice getaway will definitely stay again ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
