Lingwood Lodge

We were over the moon with the location of this property which was a very short stroll to the main tourist area of Bowness/Windermere. The lovely Sandra greeted us and give us some valuable info on eateries and lake tours etc. the room had a perfect view and was lovely for our family of four, even used the Netflix account to enjoy an evening movie after walking. All in all I would whole heartedly recommend this lodge. Thanks Sandra!

I had a fantastic long weekend stay with friends at Lingwood Lodge and I can honestly say it was perfect, from the beautiul setting to the exeptional size and standard of the room, was beyond all expectaions. It had an lovely selection of tea's and coffee along with biscuits and even muffins, a very nice touch. The location is stunning, it is an easy short walk down to the shoreside, taking any stress away with parking as it can get very busy in the carparks at the weekends. The room was very clean and modern with a beautiful view, I could not ask for more. The owners were very helpful and welcoming, Sandra went out of her way to accommodate the extra car we had and gave us lots of tips on places to visit and eat out. We were extra grateful for Sandra's advice on visiting Ambleside via the boat trip as it is not clear when you arrive there that the town is a walk away so many people think it is just the area around the dock so miss out seeing a beautiful bustling town. So thank you very much for a Fantastic stay and I will definitely be back.

Lovely room in a perfect location, would highly recommend. We received a very friendly welcome on arrival, the lakeshore, marina and Bowness town centre are a very short walk away, the perfect base to explore the Lakes, couldn't be happier.

The room was very warm and cosy had an amazing sleep the lady lady was welcoming from the start and made sure we had everything we needed, we will definitely stay again it was the perfect location couldn't of asked for more can't wait to come back .
