My wife & I have just returned from a wonderful stay at this lovely,first class B&B.I can only endorse all the positive reviews that have been left by other guests.We stayed in the top suite........really nice & well worth the money,the breakfast choice is great.....really sets you up for the day ! Thanks very much to the owners friends,who were looking after the house,whilst the owners were on holiday.........they were lovely people.Hope to return in the future..........Thank's again

***** WOW!!!!! From start to finish every element of our stay was fantastic. We came for a weekend in September while we were visiting the Lake District. Jackie and Steve were hosts like no others. Super friendly, super helpful and super cooks!! My husband said the breakfast was the BEST he’d ever had. I didn’t have the full English but mine was 10/10 too ( I had the omelette one day and pancakes the next) We even had pieces of flapjack put on our table at breakfast for us as Jackie and Steve wanted to us to have something nice to eat at the end of our walks. This was such a kind, thoughtful touch. After a dreary wet and cold climb up old man of coniston we came to a beautifully warmed room and a super comfy sleep in a deluxe bed. I cannot recommend Craigholme enough! If you are looking for the perfect place to stay in Bowness STAY HERE!!!! Thank you Jackie, Thank you Steve *****

Great find ! Jackie &Steve are the very best of hosts . They go the extra mile to make sure your stay is the best it can be . We had the suite at the top of the house and there are two further rooms to book on the floors below . The owners allowed us to check in early as the room was ready and even offered to carry cases upstairs as it was a couple of flights . Every thing you could need was in the room from ironing board to a corkscrew. Breakfast was great full of goodies . Made for a great start to any day . All the fare you would expect from full English to a veggie option cereal ,orange juice , fruity yogurt and even homemade flapjack to take with you . My birthday fell during our stay and the breakfast table was decorated with a banner and sprinkles and even a candle in my pancake stack and a surprise box of chocolate thank you so much Jackie x Comfy bed made for a great quiet sleep plenty of drawer and hanging space in the room . Definitely recommended .

Such an amazing place, was made to feel welcome the moment we walked through the front door by Jackie. Stayed in the guest suite which was very cosy. Breakfast was amazing. Would definitely recommend Thank you so much Jackie and Steve for such a pleasant stay

Lovely little Bed and Breakfast within walking distance of everything bowness and windermere has to offer! Great hosts Jackie and Steve were really friendly. the breakfast was delicious as well as the homemade flapjack. Keep up the good work 👏

Really lovely. Great location. Walking distance to the village. Nice couple who own it and very friendly. Breakfast great. Parking was directly outside on street. we timed it right to get a great park right outside. Only issue was bed was very small and my partner is a big guy. One night was ok though.
