Lady at the front desk in the evening was very friendly and pleasant. Hotel is clean and breakfast was pretty good.
Gentleman at the front desk during the day constantly chatting on his cellphone and not very helpful.

Booked a trip to the Comfort Inn & Suites for a baseball tournament in Clarington from June 20 to 21 on *******. We were not sure we would have enough players to field a teams so when I was booking I specifically paid an extra $22 for a fully refundable room up until June 6th. When I attempted to cancel the room on May 29th I was informed that it was non-refundable and I would not get any money back. Following Expedia's notes I contacted the hotel. After more than 24 hours I received a message from the Comfort Inn property that they will not issue a refund and to contact *******. I contacted ******* and they contacted the hotel again but they still refused to issue a refund. Based on the ridiculous price of $247 per night for a 2 star hotel you would expect that the demand is higher than the supply so they should be able to resell the room. This is obviously nothing more than a cash grab. I will never use ******* again or stay in a Comfort Inn or any other affiliated hotels.

Decent stay for the price. a/c was loud and outdated.
Bathroom had no tub. (Probably should have asked for a room with one).
