Garden Place Hotel

Great friendly service.

The room had clean linens. It was definitely outdated which was fine. The room didn’t seem like it was cleaned though, rug was dirty, there were coins left all over and a dirty washcloth hung over a hanger in the closet, toilet paper left with a few sheets.

Clean room, nice facility, extremely friendly staff

The outside looks extremely out dated & different from any picture you may see online. The room also looked completely different from the pictures on the room I reserved, which was a little disappointing. Our room wasn’t cleaned properly. The window sill was dirty, the jacuzzi was dirty & had hair all over in it. The bathroom door was messed up & was hard to close. There was food left in the fridge from the previous occupants. When we brought it to the receptionist attention they said they’d have maintenance fix the door (which they didn’t) & they’d have house keeping clean the room again, we left while it was getting done. All house keeping did was change the towels & remake the bed, nothing that we complained about was cleaned. Overall, I won’t stay at this hotel again.

The motel is beautiful, for sure. The desk staff were nice, however were not very informative. We asked about the “free” breakfast which was listen on this site. They did not tell us about the “cafe” that offered food which was at a price. The next morning when we smelled food, my husband found the place where you could get it, but no one came out.. another gentleman was there and said he also had been waiting 5 minutes with no one coming out. The room was ok. Carpet quite old and was sticky in one spot. They did have two chairs and a couch which I loved having in our room. One of the chairs was old and worn and felt like I was falling through when I sat in it. The couch in our room was very comfortable. Our king size bed was not firm but very soft and I felt I was “sinking” in the bed. I did rest very well though. The coffee pot did not work and we let the front desk know. They said they would find another one. It never happened after we had asked the second time. They did have coffee in the main lobby which we got the rest of the mornings. The cleaning staff were good and emptied our garbage every morning and supplied clean towels. We travel a lot and have stayed in many motels. The Salvatore’s take pride in their hospitality businesses and this place would be just a top line with a little work on rooms. and informing their desk staff more. We were here 4 days .

This place made me feel like I was walking through Italy- the artwork was beautiful! It was so beautifully decorated. Great for pictures! The Aquarium was an attractive attraction. It was so clean and very generous with amenities! Food was great even! Staff were incredibly sweet and super helpful! The outside was so pretty with the architecture & flowers! Very close to stores and several restaurants! I’ll go back again!
