I made a reservation for a Friday/Saturday night stay and was quoted a price of $121.49/night. Around midday Saturday we decided to stay an extra night. I asked the desk clerk if the room rate would be the same for Saturday night and was told 'yes.' However, when I checked out, only the first night was billed at the $121.49 rate. The other 2 nights were billed at $134.99. When I spoke to the desk clerk, she said she'd have to get with the manager, and he would decide whether to refund me. I was told later that week there would be no refund. I was given a bogus email address when I asked for the manager's contact information to discuss this matter. Nice. So, I called the corporate office for Best Western. I was told they contacted the manager at that location, who confirmed I was charged correctly. I don't know how I can reserve a room at one rate and be charged whatever they want to charge upon checkout. So that was my last visit there. My son just moved into the area, and I'll likely need someplace to stay once a month or more. But I'm going to go somewhere where they honor the quoted price for the reservation, even if I have to drive a little further to get there.
