We were overwhelmed by the friendly staffs and the rooms are decent, clear and modern.
Shower is strong and hot, the surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful.
I am happy to have chosen the Bowburn Hall Hotel.

We recently celebrated our wedding at Bowburn Hall Hotel on the 5th July 2025. From the moment we first visited the venue, we knew it was going to be the perfect place for our special day and it absolutely was. The grounds at the back are amazing and well kept, the flowers, bandstand and prosecco van make a great background for wedding pictures. All our guests commented on how organised and smooth the day ran which is a credit to the staff, so many commented also on the great food and service they received. What also truly stood out was how stress-free the entire process felt. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but the staff we spoke to made it easy and enjoyable. We felt supported every step of the way. We would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a wedding. Massive thank you to Tom but also to Caitlin, Lucy and Lewis.

Stayed on a Friday night when there was an event on in the hotel which was a mistake. Music was very loud and guests even louder. It's fine if you're there for an event but check before booking if you want a quiet stay. The room we stayed in was roasting hot with no means to turn heating down which made for an uncomfortable night. The bathroom sink was loose and dangerous. Staff pleasant but no duty manager to deal with room issues.

The worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. Room was shabby, not clean, uncomfortable, just horrible. No bedside cabinets, paint peeling from woodwork, dirty shower tray, tv on wrong wall could only view lying on your side on the bed. Breakfast was a poor quality, the evening meal was mediocre. If you think I must be exaggerating then took at these pictures. We visited before the heat wave started but the room was incredibly hot, even with the radiator turned off. We complained to the receptionist and was told there was nothing they could do. So we left and found a better hotel. This hotel is obviously mainly catering to the wedding market, the gardens are lovely and set up for outdoor weddings, but they are treating normal guests badly.

Great find. Conveniently situated close to A1/A19. Brilliant private room/lodge in the garden decorated and furnished to high spec. Comfy large bed and spotless bathroom. Breakfast cooked fresh to order. Lovely staff and good parking. Highly recommend.

Lovely staff and lovely room
Lovely friendly staff, garden room was lovely and clean and well equipped….only problem we had was the heating was set at 35 degrees upon arrival and it took a while to cool it down with windows and doors open.
