The attic and large basement/game room are the cherry on top for families with kids, as they provide additional beds to sleep in and more space to spread out and have fun!With so much to do in Delavan Lake, you can spend your days boating, swimming off the pier, shopping, golfing, lounging on a rocker on our covered porch or kicked back around the fire pit. There are stores, bars and restaurants all within walking distance, and the Delavan Marina is just a three minute drive down the road. The house is set in a private location . End of the road beside the woods with 120 feet of Lake Delavan inlet frontage. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor which is perfect for those who have a hard time with stairs! One with a king bed right next to the main level full bathroom and the other with a queen bed that has it's own full bathroom. Upstairs there is a bedroom that has 4 full beds, another bedroom that has a queen bed and a bunk bed (2 twins) and the final bedroom that has a queen bed. There is also a full bathroom. The 4th full bathroom is in the lower level. There is a gorgeous and modern newly remodeled oversized kitchen and dining room, family room, sun room with sitting area and a dining area, laundry room and mud room. The home has a lovely wrap around deck that overlooks beautiful Lake Delavan. The deck has 2 gorgeous umbrella table sets with 8 chairs at each and two lounge chairs. There is a lower covered patio area with a gorgeous, comfy sofa, 2 comfy chairs, cocktail and end tables from the Great Escape! 6 Adirondack chairs and an over sized picnic table that would seat 8 easily. Right near the patio area is a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and hot dogs. All of this is facing the lake!! You will have your very own private pier to fish from, swim from, read a book on or simply pull your boat up to. Includes everything you need: linens, washing machine and dryer, gas grill, full kitchen including microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, dishes, pots and pans, utensils, can opener, wine opener etc...etc. This home truly offers every amenity! The landscape includes many, various perennials, ornamental grasses and mature trees. It is lovely to sit on the deck or lower patio having the morning coffee, lunch or dinner while the boats with tubers, water skiers and sail boats are passing by. It's almost as if they are putting on a show just for you! Another wonderful feature is the walking path along the lake. It is directly in front of the beautiful homes. You can step right onto it from the lake side of the home and go for a walk along the lake. For added convenience there is a Super Wal-Mart, Piggly Wiggly, Kohls and many other stores within a 3 minute drive. The historic Inn Between Bar and Grill offering a variety of Craft Beers and delicious sandwiches all while enjoying the lake views is only a couple of minutes walk from the house! However if you prefer to drive your car they are within minutes of the home. Delavan's 2,000-acre spring-fed lake is one of the finest fishing locations in Wisconsin. The total shoreline stands at 14.2 miles and the lakes maximum depth at 56.7 feet. Other favorites include horseback riding, swimming, golfing, parks and spas. The lake features a public beach with a park, picnic areas and boat launch. Down Town Delavan is charming with its coble stone streets, many restaurants, unique shops and antique stores.
