Chill out in our relaxing and colorful living room, sit around by the fire pit outside, lounge under the shade on our deck by the river, or walk down to the riverfront for an afternoon of fishing and kayaking. The house is also conveniently located right by the southern trailhead of the Kerrville River Trail. The cottage has 3 bedrooms all with queen beds, and 2 bathrooms. Our Hill Country Community has sustained immeasurable damage from the devastating flood of July 4 this year. We were fortunate to avoid any damage to our river house, and the expansive deck, just across the street and overlooking the river, remains intact. The footprint of the river has permanently changed, and we cannot be sure what structures, trees, and relocated boulders await our discovery at the river bottom. Our decision, to encourage continued visitation and support to our devastated community, has been to lower our rates for the near future. Our hope and prayer is that this gesture will lower any resistance to visitors contemplating an adventure to our area. You may have to wait 24 to 48 hours for the fill. Because the pool is outdoors and uncovered, rain and cold weather/wind can affect the heater's ability to heat and maintain desired temperature. We are close to Bandera, Leaky, Lost Maples State Park, Medina, Comfort, Ingram, Hunt, Fredericksburg, Luckenbach, Sisterdale, Boerne, the 'Three Twisted Sisters', etc.. You could even go on a day tour of the nearby wineries, breweries and distilleries - if you like, a limo will pick you up And drop you off right at our door!
