A magic chateau hotel run by the gentlemanly Guy and his wife. The chateau itself is exceptional in all its historical splendour, complete with medieval moat. The room we were allotted was a superior double room, and it was excellent. Being circa 90 minutes by car from central Paris, It makes a quiet alternative to staying in hotels in busy Paris. Definitely a hotel we would stay at again!

Très beau château, très bien entretenu, notre hôte remarquable, à l'écoute. Nous sommes arrivés sous la pluie, mais nous avons pu apprécier la beauté et les contours du château. Nous avons été surclassé à notre arrivée et dormi dans une superbe chambre dans le château. Le Petit Déjeuner divin, copieux. Séjour mémorable, nous avons pu découvrir les restaurants à 3 minutes à pied, remarquablement bon ! nous avons été très bien conseillé. Notre seul regret est de n'avoir pu se balader dans les magnifiques jardins du château à cause de la pluie incessante (pas de chance). Moralité : nous reviendrons aux beaux jours ! belle expérience, nous avons adoré !!!

We stay mostly at high-end, 5-star properties when traveling. We were so happy to find this property on our way from Paris to Lyon, convenient to A6. The owner clearly has pride of place and pays attention to details. Our rooms (beds) were very comfortable and we enjoyed our stroll along the property. We also immensely enjoyed the history and stories pertaining to the property. You feel the history here. Lovely experience.

We were looking for a relaxing stay off the beaten path and out of the city for a couple of days where we could recharge during our Europe trip. Chateau de Bourron fit the bill to a tee. Lovely grounds, beautiful room, attentive staff - all set in a charming French town. We enjoyed each moment. Many thanks to the family that owns the chateau for opening their home to travellers and sharing its charm and history with us.

We loved our stay here, the castle, the surrounding grounds and the village are all beautiful and it was such a calm environment – perfect for a getaway from the city! Hopefully we’ll be back soon again!
