A very good family run establishment, the room we had was very good standard and spacious. The breakfast/ dinner menus were focused on local produce and catered for Veggie and Vegan diets, although the standard was variable depending on which chef was on duty. Ample car parking. Only minor observation is that you have to pay for each meal separately rather than adding to a residents tab.

We found this venue online and were v pleased with the value for money. The hosts Sharon and Gordon clearly have immense experience in hospitality and this is reflected in the comfort of the room to the ambience of the bar/restaurant and also the helpfulness of their staff. There is ample parking in a well lit car park.

I stayed 2 nights at this pub / hotel, I stumbled on it by accident, what a gem. The rooms are spacious clean and quiet, the service was impeccable and the food to match. I might add that the first night was only meant to be that , but I had been that impressed that I booked another night. Friendly staff , roaring fire, good food , and a clean and comfortable bed. I will definitely recommend and definitely stay again.

We stayed at The White Horse for one night, and it was absolutely perfect. The room was stunning—spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. They were warm, welcoming, and truly a credit to the hotel. Breakfast was a luxurious treat, with high-quality options that left us wishing we had booked a longer stay. We’re already looking forward to returning!
