Residence Inn Boston Downtown/Seaport

Had a fun 2 nights in Boston. This hotel is located perfectly within Seaport. All shops, restaurants and bars within short walking distance. Hotel super clean, staff very friendly.

My husband and I enjoyed our 5 day stay at this hotel for his work trip. The hotel room was spacious, nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. There is a Trader Joe’s on the next block so the fridge came in handy. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked properly. The hotel is a 10 - 15 minute walk to the piers where they have ferries to the airport and to Provincetown. There are also shops and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel is about a 20 - 30 minute walk to places like Boston Public Market, Faneuil Hall, Beacon Hill and Chinatown. Newbury Street is a 20 minute drive in traffic. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The free breakfast was well stocked and consisted of a rotating egg dish (scrambled eggs, quiche, etc.), rotating breakfast meat (bacon, turkey sausage, sausage), make-your-own waffles, yogurt, breads, muffins, fruits, oatmeal, juices, tea, coffee, etc. The only issue that we had with the room was the water pressure in the shower was okay and the hot water sometimes took awhile to get from lukewarm to hot. I’m not sure what the going rate for parking is in Boston, but the hotel charges $45/day. The parking garage is right next to the hotel so it is convenient to access your car when you need it. We were on the 4th floor facing the hotel’s parking lot off the lobby and had no issues with street noise at night. We would definitely stay at this hotel on our next trip to Boston.

We just completed an excellent 7 night stay at the Boston Residence Inn Seaport. This is our second time at this property, having stayed here previously in in 2018. We were upgraded to a 1 BR Suite using 5 Bonvoy Nightly Upgrade Awards - we had booked the room originally as a 5 night stay (to use the 5 certificates) followed by a 1 night stay (knowing that we might have to switch rooms on day 6) and added an additional night stay soon after our arrival. The hotel staff kindly upgraded us for the additional two nights at the start of our stay, so we were guaranteed to be in the same room throughout the stay. This is a beautiful property in a great location. The building, architecture, and rooms are not your “typical” Residence Inn, it’s a unique and upscale property. There is a Caffe Nero conveniently located in the same building, and a Flour Bakery just a block away - both are worth visiting. The location is great - There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance in the seaport (Pressed Grill is especially worth a visit), downtown Boston is an easy 3/4 mile walk, and the North End (Boston’s Little Italy) is about 1.25 miles away. What really sets this property apart though is the staff. Every member of the front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and they all seem to truly enjoy working at their property and interacting with guests. The other hotel staff, such as the housekeeping staff, are equally friendly. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a place to stay in Boston!
