Carvery was lovely with 3 meats to choose from and plenty of vegetable choice including cauliflower cheese. A small was £6.95 and large £13.95 great value. No desserts so we opted for a slice of cake each which were large and very moorish. The Cove beautifully decorated and staff service first class.

Had Sunday carvery and it was fantastic, great selection of meats and the veg was perfectly cooked with crispy roasts and fluffy yorkies. Drinks selection was great too with my favourite, Hawkstone beer. Looking forward to returning very soon..

Met by a lovely lady who was extremely helpful and attentive and although advising the restaurant was fully booked said she would fit us in, which she did and very glad we were. The food was lovely and well priced. We had the deluxe double room which was huge with a lovely bathroom. Would benefit from a couple of comfy chairs as the bar and restaurant are not open on Sundays (not advertised or stated when booking) so the seating areas are not accessible to hotel guests. On a bad weather day your only option is to sit on the bed or at the desk which has no powerpoints. Breakfast is included, but is just a very very basic Continental offering, no hot options. Real shame as after an excellent dinner in the restaurant on Saturday night we had high hopes. All the staff were top notch though and cannot be faulted just a few minor points that people need to be aware of when booking.

I booked this hotel on it's appearance that suggested it was a well cared for hotel not a neglected one.....only stayed the one night as I was passing through Boston whilst cycle touring. On that note I read a recent negative review regarding the closed bar on a Sunday. Whilst I can understand the posters complaint I can also say that it's entirely normal in loads of hotels in places I've cycled through, it's economic realism. First impressions were very positive, good well designed bar and eating area, the receptionist/barmaid was very friendly and checked me in promptly. I'd booked the cheapest room and didnt expect much only needing a wash & a sleep, it was very clean with a bigger than standard single bed, large shower, fast wi-fi and the usual tea & coffee supplies. I've no complaints. The hotel is an easy walk into Boston centre where I found a pile of interesting buildings from it's rich history, a bit of a surprise to me. When cycle touring I stay in a different hotel every night, it gets expensive even when trying to stay around the £50-70 mark, this is definitely one of the best ones I've stayed in considering the staff, location, ambience, cleanliness, I'm going to give it another try with my wife next month.

Right the Good - very modern spotless rooms. Bathroom exceptional, bedroom not big but comfortable, nice touch putting fans in as usually have to ask. Meal in restaurant Saturday evening superb 10/10 to the chef & staff. Now the disappointment, no food or drink served on a Sunday after breakfast, this is supposedly a hotel not an Airbnb so basically you get back early evening, all lights off downstairs so you go sit in your room, no mention of this when booking, wouldn't have booked for a Sunday had i known this, such a shame as on arrival it seemed pretty great.

Visited hotel whilst staying with family for evening meal. Atmosphere was great, staff were brilliant, attentive and polite and food was amazing! Burger was lovely and very reasonable priced. Whole family really enjoyed their food and we felt there was no rush.

If ever a place invited you in from the appearance then Quayside Hotel did just that. The front was very welcoming with lots of flowers and hanging baskets. On entering we were greeted straight away and shown where to check in. We stayed for two nights due to attending an air show in the local area and the Quayside was an ideal base for us. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. There was even a card in the room entitling us to a free drink when purchasing a meal so we made use of the that. We ate both evenings in the restaurant area and the menu was very extensive and the food cooked to order and very good. The bar area was a lovely place to sit and have a drink with lots of comfy chairs and sofas. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay of two nights , excellent food and the staff were very helpful and friendly . Easy walk into town from this hotel. The hotel was very clean and warm. And a lot of choices at breakfast. Would recommend this hotel if visiting Boston.
